Experience the game that launched one of the most celebrated sagas in entertainment with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. The shooter that defined the first generation of HD gaming has been painstakingly remastered in 1080P and modernized for Xbox One, and is packed full of new content including five campaign chapters never released on Xbox.
The story of “Gears of War” thrusts gamers into a deep and harrowing battle for survival against the Locust Horde, a nightmarish race of creatures that surface from the depths of the planet. Players live and breathe the role of Marcus Fenix. A disgraced former war hero, Marcus seeks personal redemption as he leads his fire team against an onslaught of merciless warriors from below.

I guess it depends what you want in a multiplayer game... If you want to have a pro like game and care about stats and feel good about being a mayweather in a cod game that's one way... Or if you're an exciting go all out Pacquiao and don't mind a loss or knockout every once in a while then I guess that's another way lol!

Oh God don't focus on staying alive. Play KOTH, Infinite respawns so you can go berzerk and have a real rip-up. And not like the Team Epic UK guy I was playing when last on. Me outside the Hotel in the ring all alone. Out Comes Epic guy with 3 bots. The bots came right for me and 3 v 1 is only going to go one way on the whole. But Epic guy, what did he do? LOL Ran away from the hill to hide behind a car and shoot around it. That must have been exciting for him! And Strategy? Maybe if you are in a communicating team vs another communicating team but I don't call hiding behind a piece of wood and running round shooting people in the back strategy. Go play chess for strategy. Doing that ^ is just plain booooring.

For cod ghost campaign always makes me physically sick and this did worry me and sometimes think I'm the only one but at least I'm not alone! Lol
I don't understand why this happens though.
Also I agree about the halo 5 graphics and that's the thing that's getting to me... I'm like this is too good to miss out on but in saying that I haven't a clue about the story.

This is one of the multiplayer games i just can't get in too, people just kill me over and over and the running makes me feel ill.

Have tried but couldn't get into it. The only game I get motion sickness with. I must say that I enjoyed watching one of my sons going through the last couple, almost like a movie. The story line is good, the graphics even better and 5 looks to surpass all of them.
Battlefield 4 is brilliant. I just try to keep my kill/death ratio above 1. Not as easy as it sounds. It's the modern day equivalent of playing with Airfix soldiers/tanks etc.

Battlefield? That's so hard for me... I'm not even going to go there lol... I'm going to try gears MP king of the hill though.
Any idea if halo should be given any attention? For some reason I just never ever got the urge to play but seeing halo 5 I feel like I've missed out.

Age has slowed my reflexes somewhat so not that good at GoW/CoD. Not bad on Battlefield though.

Yeah I guess this makes sense... I'm a Titanfall type of gamer that uses strategy and the smart gun which locks on to opponents without aiming... So much easier lol!

no one is good at multiplayer at first. its a lot about strategy and reaction now in MP games. if you can strategise you can do wuite well. dont focus on kills, focus on staying alive

Play King of the Hill only. You respawn once killed until the objectives has been won by one team or the other.

Cheers! Although I have tried it and I guess constantly dying isn't quite enjoyable but I guess I need to be a bit patient I suppose.

Apart from the 2/3 minute waiting time between games, you have to give it a try. Gears 1 & 3 are two of the best games that are more fun online. This replicates that, to a point. I'm cr*p but still enjoy online ply way more than solo gaming.

Good price for a lot of gaming. as mentioned above it also comes with the entire Xbox 360 Gears of War collection for use on Xbox One backward compatibility when available and early access to gears 4 beta in November.

I wouldn't recommend rushing into to buying this, in 2 weeks the Xmas season of games will be upon on us. Some might argue it's already started. Rehashed games like this and the Uncharted collection will drop quite sharply.

It's that thing again where you can wait and price drops etc, but in this case I can sort understand as it's around the corner but anyone wanting the game now and can't wait then this is a decent price.

To be honest I'm not that good at multiplayer but I'm glad you pointed that out as if someone is into that then definitely worth getting!

Anyone wondering... Graphics are amazing and the cut scenes are great to watch. I've completed the game but haven't really gone back to it... In saying that I think it's worth the money as you will get gears 1,2,3, judgement (360 backward compat) and early access to gears 4 beta in November... Can't wait!
