Just to say that the majority of orders are safe. However, we have had a small number rejected by the bank - not because of lack of funds, but possibly because we were not recognised as a vendor that you shop with. That's our working theory, we've asked our bank to investigate.

It was about a 7% failure rate in terms of payments, when we'd normally expect about 2%.

We're investigating right now and are looking to contact all impacted today, we'll do all we can to ensure you get your order. We have extra stock of this arriving this afternoon, so you should all be satisfied.

In terms of the orders themselves, it was a bank holiday in Ireland yesterday, which is where these orders are coming from. ALL orders will come to you by courier. FREE UK delivery.

We have over 1,000 successful orders at the warehouse right now, ready to ship.
These are orders that our warehouse has processed today (first working day since Irish bank holiday yesterday).

These are currently waiting for collection to the UK. Hopefully they'll leave tonight, if not, it'll be tomorrow morning.
As soon as they have shipped, you will receive a tracking number, automatically so you can track your console's progress.

Now. There are some orders outstanding. We're still processing them and expect to clear this backlog by tomorrow evening for the Xbox One orders. That's at the latest - hopefully sooner.

For the orders that have failed / not gone through - we are very sorry. You will get an email shortly.
But effectively, in the vast majority of cases we've looked into - the issuing bank has rejected the order, for a reason they're not sharing with us - damn those bankers!

We have plenty of stock at time of writing (touch wood). But we really encourage you to re-place your order as soon as you can - obviously we also recommend you speak to your bank first, so your order won't be cancelled a second time. But equally, as you can see, this is a cracking deal... and it's been extremely popular.

This is a question to hmvXtravisionCS, I received my dispatch confirmation however under the item information it said destiny xbox1 bundle -game x1. I have sent an email enquiry about this but have had no response. Does this mean I am getting destiny rather than halo 5?

My dispatch info also stated "destiny xbox1 bundle - game x1". Will be pretty miffed if Destiny is included instead. Has anyone received theirs yet to confirm?

You should receive two dispatch emails.
One from us - which is effectively your invoice.

This will confirm that you have ordered our Xbox One Console with Halo 5: Guardians bundle and how much you paid.

There is a second email - that is generated by the warehouse - This is an email with your dispatch reference - so you can track your parcel. Unfortunately the warehouse dispatch system had not synced up the name with our online system, since the last time we used this courier...

As great a game as Destiny is... you're getting Halo 5: Guardians.

We are investigating why the warehouse is sending these Destiny confirmations out... and we've been promised that this will be fixed asap. But in short - you're covered - we've checked with the warehouse - you're getting Xbox One with Halo 5 Guardians...

I'd advise against this deal, had a number of issues with HMV Ireland.
There were delays with despatch of the console due to warehousing. I prompted HMV and to their credit they despatched ASAP. However, when the packaged arrived, the exterior packaging was damaged. There was also no invoice as proof of delivery and the copy of Destiny I ordered wasn't in the package either.

I've emailed the online customer support for HMV Ireland, no response. The contact support number for HMV Ireland is 'no longer in use'. HMV UK gave me the email address of the parent group that manage HMV Ireland, no response.

It's pretty shoddy stuff.

Anyone received theirs yet ?
