As title. £265 for the Console and game would be a good price normally but throw in £50 worth of points and this is crazy cheap. Also add £5.95 postage.
Xbox One (500GB HDD) Black Console
Official Xbox One Wireless Controller (with 3.5mm jack socket)
FIFA 16 (full boxed game)
HDMI Cable
Xbox One PSU
Quidco is available although it has never tracked for me when using Rakuten/Simply Games before.

Great deal! This wasn't available when I posted the Pixel Electronics deal earlier, £305 was the price inc. Fifa!!
It has just been pointed out that you can only get a maximum of £50 of points, but still a great deal!

Wow even better deal the the earlier one on Rakuten!
Trade in Fifa 16 for £32 and you got your X1 for approx £180 - wow!
Wish I had waited now as this is £25 better.

Why not? Doesn't it come in the box normally? Are these opened boxes?

I bought one of the previous Xbox one details and there was no headset in the box but there were no signs that the box had been opened!

How long do the points take to show in your account?

About 10 days after dispatch but Rakuten say it can take up to 16 days....someone mentioned in another thread, you have to spend the points by end of Nov

If you look closely at the 20X super points banner it says £50 max, so guessing you won't get the full £53 on this deal.

I have edited the deal to £50 Rakuten points!

Now my question would be are the super points calculated as 19*265 which caps at the £50 and then you get the normal 1*265 points you'd get anyway (and expire in a year instead of the end of Nov) so you get £52.65 in points? I've got a feeling that is how it has been worked out in the past, not sure if they 'fixed' it though. Not really worth worrying about £3 in points anyway

Don't think it does - I tried it this morning and it will let you enter the code and take off the discount but at the final payment stage it gives an error message about the code not being valid.....

If this is the standard 500gb with a boxed copy of Fifa 16, why does the description say no headset included?
EDIT:
Looking at some of the comments on the 500gb it seems Simplygames is dispatching Fifa bundles with the code removed. This means you get the newer controller with 3.5mm input but it lacks any kind of official headset.
Pity as i'm after a console for Halo 5 and having to spend £20 on a headset negates most of the offers around.

I have a £50 Tritton (I never paid anywhere that much, but they settle at around £30-£40 usually) and I usually just end up using a cheap £10 pair of Sony's that I bought for the train (that exact pair is actually £10 now) and the Mic is surprisingly good on it. Headphones aren't that bad either. That said I can control the volume from my controller as I have the headset adapter, so not sure what the results would be like on the new controller.

They are taking the FIFA code out of the new model bundle and putting it in with the old model.
The console I received last week (non FIFA purchase) has the headset, but according to sticker on box is FIFA bundle, so new model/chassis, with FIFA code removed.

Damn, with points in my account I could have had this for £150! But I get error message "Please enter a valid voucher code and try again" Still I can purchase for £190, sell fifa for £30 = £160 for an xbox one aint bad. Not sure if I should hold out for a 1tb deal though......?

What are the restrictions on 'Rakuten points'?
Any reason why I wouldn't be able to use them to get a preorder copy of Halo 5?
Considering this over the Zavvi deal as it's a little cheaper and a Fifa boxed copy will be much easier to sell. Only really has value to me if I can buy Halo 5 with no issues.
EDIT:
For anyone not interested in either the copy of Fifa or Rakuten points then Simplygames are selling the console for £239 on their website. Comes without a headset so I assume it's the Fifa bundle with the code removed.

I have already used the points to place a pre-order for Halo 5 so you have no issues on this front.

Question please:
Is the £50 max of points per transaction or per account? I ordered 2 Xbox Ones this morning in two separate orders... I sure as hell hope I am getting £100 worth of point in my account - otherwise the 2nd one is going back!

Be careful buying this...
You may find you get the old model console with the FIFA code stuffed into the box.
I got the console earlier this month (non FIFA version) but the box had a sticker on it saying it was FIFA bundle, yet Simply had opened it and removed the game.
Seems to me that they may be selling the new model console as standalone and putting FIFA in with older model and selling that.... I could be wrong, but that's the way it looks.

This sounds like a different package from yours - you get the new controller with 3.5mm jack and the Fifa is "full boxed game".....if it was an older console, I assume it would have the older controller (without headphone jack)

I thought the new 3.5mm controller was only with the 1TB console..? I want an xbox one for Halo 5 (don't care about the hard drive because i'll be using external drive) but I want the 3.5mm controller. If this is DEFINITELY the 500GB w/ 3.5 controller and Fifa I might get it then just sell Fifa off.
Ungreat to saunderscowie
16 Oct 15#36
The Fifa bundle on the Microsoft store says it includes the new 3.5mm controller (not the 'elite' just in case you were mixed up) but there is no guarantee the console here actually includes the fifa bundle version, just going by what some of the reviews said.
If all you are after is an Xbox one, Halo 5 and a 3.5mm capable controller you could look at the Zavvi and Shopto deals. Zavvi had the Fifa bundle (digital code not physical disc) and Halo 5 for around £270 (i think).
