Can you alter the volume of the chat with these headsets??, its great and all that the new XB1 pads have the 3.5m jack but cant believe they didn't add a volume dial on the pad itself or an easy what to do this other than having to go through about 4 options to get to the setting on the console. Truly short sighted on Microsoft's part!!!

You can alter the volume of chat as well as the volume , you get the Xbox Headset adaptor included with it .To adjust the main volume with the button on the right and press the buttons on the left to adjust the game / chat sound in various stages , Better than a rotary dial imho as less to get broken or go wrong.
The headset connects to it via the 3.5mm jack, The boom mic is removeable . I use mine for my Xbox One & on my tablet.
Had them for a year now , Lovely sound & have been told my voice is crystal clear when using them.

Beat my price and the £25* off would probably work out at a very cheap price lol!
*There was a promotion on HUKD last week where if bespoke offers couldn't beat a price on an item they would give you £25 to spend until the end of October.

Design isn't bad but the lack on mic monitoring facility is the killer blow. Same as on Turtle Beach XO7. These were the first headsets to come out with the Xbox One and I think before Microsoft brought out their stereo adaptor. Later headsets solved this problem. Just because they are cheap doesn't mean it is a particularly good deals!!! I know I had a pair.

Terrible headset. There is no mic monitoring feature meaning you can hardly hear your own voice when wearing them. Very disorientating. Latest Turtle beach headsets are much better

Had a pair of these for almost a year now. Very impressed with it. Built well, lovely and comfy (they are a tad tight at first), sound great, good quality on the mic. If you don't already have a good headset and you can get it for that price... BUY IT!
