I remember about 10 years ago, I lived about 20 miles away from my old dear. She sent me a text saying "put your bluetooth on".
I think she wanted to be a bluetooth sender, of course, I had to explain that over that distance, it just wasn't going to work :smile:

I remember getting the first Nokia camera phone, it had a metallic blue case with 2 black stripes going down it. I was proud :innocent: Must've been about 2001/02

Struggled with different brands of these for years. They're not bad, but they're limited by the range and quality of Bluetooth. If you've got the extra money (it's double the price) get a Chromecast Audio.
That does the same thing but over wifi instead. So your phone / ipad / PC is connected to your wifi and the digifunk connects to your speakers.
I have 4 digifunk 3's (this is the gen2) connected to 4 mini amps to various rooms around the house.
I've tried bluetooth, it's not very reliable and range is a lot shorter than you think.

Depends on the quality of the products involved, in my experience. Have 2 pairs of BT headphones. The no-name ones cut out when my phone is in my pocket, but the Phillips ones keep a steady connection even when I wander off from the phone.

At that price I think you're much better going for a Chromecast Audio as that works on wifi and will be better sound quality, more reliable, work anywhere you're connected to your wifi and barely run your battery down. Just generally better.
