why is it that so many spirits seem to be 40% - is it some kind of tax advantage to the manufacturers?

i used to like smirnoff export which was around 45% but i haven't seen in the shops for a long time.

Russian standard here too but only when its on offer, otherwise this is a good deal but as its full price online it may not be national.

Is this `Zeljonaja Marka` (Green Mark) Russian vodka? If it is, it`s just to be very good... sadly easy to buy some counterfeits back in country where i`m from. I`m not so sure how common they are her in uk

Yes russian one. Dont know how it tastes back in there, but this is no good. Even chilled tastes like spirit with water. Russian Standard is much more better. I think I managed to buy counterfeit Russian Platinum as it tasted worse than this and usually is perfect :smiley:

title should be changed its green mark vodka @ tesco not tesco vodka.

apart from that this is an excellent price for a great vodka, I cant see this being national

super hot if you can get it.
