This was found at Tesco in Surrey Quays shopping centre. Not sure if nationwide

This was a nationwide glitch on value items from earlier today. Some stores fixed prices quickly, some closed off aisles whilst others let customers buy the items.

You should have scanned more stuff, apparently the entire £1 aisle is scanning at 1p. Stores have been closing off the aisle. I didn't find out till after 4pm so couldn't go.

Erm, actually it's a transaction. Theft is when you leave the store with our paying anything.

when an item is priced it is an invitation to buy, if they take the said price then a contract if formed and you legally own the goods. There is a get out clause online but instore, once the money is exchanged they cannot cancel the deal.

:laughing: I know it's a penny but 10 things of gravy?? Must have been like supermarket sweep in there with folk going wild in the aisles for a bargain - then realising all they got was 10 lots of gravy!

People can be so greedy, going ott not only clears stock for other people but also alerts the store to the glitch. The glitch was nationwide but the £1 aisle wasn't nationwide hence why a lot of people didn't have it.
