I suggest waiting until game is actually released.... fighting games on PC are notorious for price crashes within a week of launch they tend to drop to half price or less real quick.

Response times makes no difference at all when playing fighting games. It's the 60fps rate that matters. Any less and you'll miss combos, any higher and it becomes slow motion.

60fps is nice and all, but input delay caused by a 100ms TV isn't very fun.

I think what he's getting at, is that the majority of console gamers use televisions, and the majority of PC gamers use monitors.

Looks stunning so far unsure of whether to get it on PC or PS4. Will PC players be at an advantage due to monitor response times?

Street Fighter IV supported 120Hz (at 60fps), and in terms of response time, playing on the monitor was definitely much better than playing on a TV.

Response time has nothing to do with console or PC owners. The display you choose is what depends, and that's entirely up to you to use a TV or a monitor for gaming.

Would this be any good running on a 1st Gen i7 and 6950 GPU? I don't do much gaming other than Pinball so was wondering if my setup would be any good for something more taxing.

Shopto have always been solid for me. I got a refund from GMG once I heard the PC beta is only two days long + no Ryu/Ken/Chun Li/Cammy to play with, rather wait and save the money. Good find OP!

This is a fantastic price - thanks for the heads up OP. I don't think that this will get you access to the beta though if I'm not mistaken so something to consider unless someone can correct me? Might even be worth cancelling my GMG order for this

Looks like you need to preorder through Steam if you want beta access. £45 though.
I wonder if I can preorder there, play the beta, then cancel for a refund ?

Awesome, thought this was a PS exclusive. Going to migrate to PC gaming. Was going to get PS4 but not going to pay for online gaming after getting it for free on PS3. Will also he able to carry over the fightstick without upgrading. Heat.

good choice, i got my first gaming pc last year (have the consoles as well) as it was the best thing i've ever done. playing games at higher resolutions and frame rates i find myself enjoying and appreciating games more.

Game will run at 60 FPS on both platforms so PC players wont have an advantage.

when you play on a monitor - you will always have advantage. not all tv's are the same and response time will always be better on monitors.
