I bought one of these from iceland at the start of this week - the pan is actually very good quality so i'm pleased. I made the brownies last night though, and wasn't pleased with them =/ Followed the recipe, took them out after 30minutes and it turned out to be a chocolate sponge cake rather than a brownie! Heart broken as i was waiting for my brownies... ha! Great buy, seems to be available in other supermarkets too

This is made with vegetable oil, congealed with emulsifiers, with added flavourings to make it palatable.

Are these just normal spreads or only for cakes?

It's called stork cakes but I assume it's just like a normal butter spread you can put on toast?? Thanks a lot for posting

I've never used it for toast etc only baking so couldn't tell you what it tastes like outside of a cake. I think generally it's intended for baking.

These were also in my local Tesco today. A very good buy as 1 500g stork is usually just over £1. Tesco link
