Titanfall = Great Game...
Also, a failed game, holding back extras, then release as overpriced DLC, customers not taking to it, so eventually forcing the DLC on you for free, to which no-one wants = failed game...
I still play it daily though  But I paid £5 for it, its final worth after EA stopped d!cking about...
I hope Star Wars don't end up the same..

Very empty game with little substance even the full game with more modes wont be enough to justify this price, people are crazy paying £35-£50 for a ps4 version with dumbed down graphics and slower framerate

It's crazy that people are willing to pay this much for around 30 mins of fun ...
I know it is personal opinion, but this game is not a Battlefront game, just a cash in on COD Lite (if that was even possible)

I loved it mate. I didn't really get into Battlefield 3/4 or any of the recent dumbed down COD's but really enjoyed BF Star Wars. We had a game last night in a party of 6 and was really good fun.

Patience you must have... If you only knew the power of the 6 months XP I'll have by then:stuck_out_tongue:
Given the beta's stability and success, it's going to be very popular game and popular games will sell without reductions.

Lots of stuff about it- would have been quicker for you to search yourself rather than reply.
Did you like it because of the gameplay or because it was SW? And I was playing yesterdayand in my team it looked like 6 or so players were acting together as a "sub-team"- were you the character with the Princess Leia bun hairdo?

Haha no but it is a lot better in a team working together. Especially if you are the rebels trying to take down a walker. I love Star Wars so that does give me some bias but i did also really like the gameplay on it. Only thing is it is DICE. On launch the game servers might mean it doesn't exactly play the same way

I was very excited for this when the first announcements and videos came out. Had a go of the beta. Thought it was OK. Too much like re skinned battlefield. But i am sure it will do OK. But I do not think I will buy it. I can just see it now premium, boost packs, Old battlefront map dlc and I cannot be bothered.
Graphics were very good.
Heat added for a good price for those that do want it.

It could happen I guess and I'll buy it again if it does (already pre-ordered on PS4).

That is certainly a concern! I absolutely despised the first couple of hours as I was just cannon fodder :stuck_out_tongue:
Considering it was capped at level 5 the full game will be even more frustrating. There are definitely some balance issues as top players can dominate dropzone with insane K/D ratios.
The graphics didn't quite match the original gameplay reveal but they were pretty stunning overall.
I was also pleasantly surprised with the frame rate at 2160p. Guess the Frostbite engine is very well optimised these days.

Jaystan banned again? C'mon...
On topic, only had a chance to play the Beta briefly, and admittadly only the Tatooine level (on PC and PS4). Meh. Not a bad game! The odd annoying bug but that's expected now days from new games. Been playing it off and on over the weekend, and I'll try get in a few more games before the beta ends. But I'll be waiting for the price to drop a little more, and hopefully by then the game will also run smoother.

Can I also complain about the full game being short based on a beta with only a small part of the main game available? It sounds like a fun thing all the kids are doing now, especially those who never played Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Personal preference. There is the argument of physical vs digital (I could buy the PS4 version for £40 and get £20 back if sold within a few weeks, so would only have paid £20 for the "experience", for example). I also prefer collecting trophies and multiplayer on the PS4 for some reason - again, that would be down to personal preference

I was running it on PC at steady 60fps at 4k resolution and it looked pretty stunning. We know you are locked in graphically on PS4 so PC quality will depend on your hardware, console is always going to be inferior graphically (minus a few poor console ports that shouldn't even exist)
Can someone find a cheap price for this game on ps4? thanks.

13 Oct 151#63
Yeah, I wasn't getting any enjoyment from the beta until I hit rank 5 and finally picked up the jetpack. Even then, I still think the spawn system needs worked on, heavily. In drop-zone, it can spawn you on the opposite side of the map, therefore making it impossible to reach the escape pod in time. And the escape pods can sometimes fall next to the enemy team's spawn area, which is fun...
Lastly, the walker mode was horrible when playing as rebels. Mainly due to people in the AT-ST vehicles that stop you in your tracks. And of course, the weapon fire from the main AT-ATs themselves!
