Mine arrived this morning. Feel fragile and the sound quality is worse than both my standard supplied Samsung and 6 year old Apple equivalents. Handy spare though

To be fair 15+ years ago most of the examples of this kind of earphone were pretty good, and the Sennheiser MX365 (for example) are quite good still (for around a fiver). Not fantastic, but listenable at least.

They won't be any better (although they do look the part). The problem with these cheap earphones is the drivers; they just sound like someone is farting into cardboard. They are useful if the dog has eaten the cord on a half-decent set though; you can splice the (decent quality) cord from these onto the old ones.

I would agree. People see they're Skullcandy and automatically assume decent sound but I'd have to recommend in-ear earphones rather than these. The only decent style of this type of earphone I have owned were Apple made.

I got these last time they were on offer and I must say you get what you pay for. I'd compare these to the £1 earphones in the local poundshop!

very much so, except remember you are paying for postage in that price. lets assume its a 2nd class stamp at 54p you are paying 45p.
2xl are also not 'skullcandy' but a division of skullcandy.
if you want to pay around a pound for earphones then i would atleast recommend in-ear isolating types, as an example banggood do these headphones for pence more. admittedly you wont get a display box, but im sure they would be considerably better sounding based only on the fact they are a sealed ear type.
that is if you dont mind waiting a week for it to arrive. but banggood are generally quick compared to some chinese retailers

If you are deaf, but you absolutely need the lowest of the low quality earphones in a couple of days, then these are the ones for you!
There's a reason this major seller is only asking a quid for these: the returns rate on them at the full £3.95 just won't be worth their while. I'd feel guilty giving these things away.
