Well, they certainly won't be tight on your 26" rims (700c)!

Maybe reduce the pressure slightly during the winter though. Had a few squeaky bum moments last year when it was frosty.
Excellent tyres though ... never had a puncture or had to replace after 2 years of use and travelling 5 miles a day on them for my commute.

Choose carefully in store, the last three of these tyres I bought had damaged wire in the tyre walls. Mr Unhelpful in Halford store said "Just keep them pumped up hard". Didn't work with the first one, first corner I lent into and the shape let go and nearly threw me off the bike. Lesson learnt. They were 2 for £15 at the time so a better deal might be had in future if you're not in a hurry to buy.
Great tyres, absolute pain to get onto the rim, watch your fingers!!!

Get a set of park tool tyre levers with nylon inside them for strength, virtually indestructible and makes it easy to fit these tyres.

Said last time posted, these are the best 26" tyres for a road used mountain bike.

These are good tyres and I use them on all of my 26" wheel road bikes, including my kiddyback tandem. High pressure rating (85psig) and low rolling resistance. They've never felt skittish or unstable. I spoke to a guy at Halfords, who told me that they sell them for £8.99 because everyone else seems to sell them for that.
