I suggest getting the SanDisk more reliable and better quality.

Don't worry mate, I'm going back in time to get another £30 one from Dabs..... my Delorian is bust and wife is on the time-travel-toilet but as soon as she's off it I'll grab a few.

I bought mine from Amazon last night for 1p cheaper.
It's still that price now so if anyone prefers Amazon....nows the time.
The OPs "Amazon selling for £42.99." is not the case atm.

they have a bundle offer available for £37.78 which consists of this SSD and a USB enclosure for a 2.5" drive.
so if anyone took advantage of the lenovo x201 deal and fancied going down the SSD route I assume this would be an ideal bundle.
decent SSD to pop in the laptop and a cheap enclosure to house your removed HD for USB storage.

Got an Extreme Pro that I've had for about 6 months, maybe more. Been trouble free. Does have a 10 year guarantee tho.
expensive compared to the offers for 240gb and 480gb... marked as cold I'm afraid

how about voting based on the deal posted rather than your ssd size requirements?
cheaper than everywhere else so hot from me!

No migration software comes with these drives. I'm struggling to transfer across to this drive - Can anyone suggest the right way to do it?

Remove SSD outer casings and swap drives over. Replace cases. Easy five minute job.

Either buy a dock that'll do it for you, or use a Linux boot disk an DD... just make sure you get the copy direction right!

Thats the easy bit, but you'll end up with a drive with no software on it. I'm talking about migrating all your files across to the SSD. I've used Seagate SSD's before which come with migration software, Sandisk SSD's come with nothing but the drive.

it was a joke. Try this or there are others mentioned in the SSD deals over the last few days.

Great for cloning Windows
Put the SSD in the caddy and plugged USB lead into laptop
Downloaded http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx
Cloned the drive http://knowledgebase.macrium.com/display/KNOW/Cloning+a+disk
and then swapped the drive in the laptop for the new SSD
job done and laptop nice and nippy again
