Noticed this deal on eBuyer for a Samsung 40" 3D TV. It was posted before by someone else when it was £389.99.
Has decent reviews on all major sites (9/10)
I am unable to find it any cheaper:
Amazon: £389
Tesco: £399
John Lewis: £399
Currys: £399
Appliances Direct: £379.98 (£359.98 with 'Which' magazine trial)
Note that after the last Samsung TV I posted up yesterday, eBuyer put the price up before they completely sold out. So get in quick!

These smart TVs from samsung are simply amazing I can't believe I did not buy one sooner ... finally got a 48" from richer sounds. You can practically do everything. I particularly love connecting my galaxy s5 via screen mirroring and watching iplayer and 4od via samsung apps.

I have the 60inch model when it first came out last year. Even now the TV is still being updated. Great piece of kit.

I did managed to buy the 43" HD (non 3D) TV yesterday before they bumped the price up, but honestly I wish I waited for this one today as its 3D.

Apparently it was only on Freeview. That was an old issue, there's a new firmware update that fixes this:
They have to give you this service anyway, so they will try to charge the uninformed to make some extra dosh.

If you want to waste your time for fighting with other companies about longer warranty - your choice... specially with ebuyer

Likely to get that even if you pay for one. Never had a problem with eBuyer, and we use them all of the time. Even our supplier at work.

shame it's 40 inches, not great for 2015

What's the problem with that? 1080p means the definition is reduced with larger sizes. I'd rather not see the pixels by having a smaller screen.

Too small even for the bedroom?

True. Samsung are the only ones with all catchup services. iPlayer, ITV player and 4oD.
Having Plex built in is just awesome.

Absolutely right. I have the edge plus and it mirrors beautifully with the TV.
I would advise anyone thinking of buying a 4K tv to wait and get a Samsung like this. Panasonic have already cancelled their Euro release of their 4K bluray player and the format and compatibility wars are starting again with HDR.
So forget 4K as its not a proven format, their TVs are awful for gaming and apart from a few silly tv there's nothing to play on it yet.
Oh yes the Samsung is superb with ps4 with absolutely no lag and sync issues at all. Forget curves and 4K for quite a while.

I bought this one (same price) from Dabs.com. It's fantastic...even the sound isn't bad. Nearly had kittens just after setting it up... I'd inadvertently touched the voice button and as I said wit woo admiringly at some bloke on the box the bloody TV spoke to me!

Great TVs.
Got one of these at the end of September for the master bedroom for the grand total of £340 (via Bespoke).
Also managed to get two of the same model (H6400) in the 32" flavour for £303 each (again via Bespoke).
Two pairs of 3D glasses with the 40", but none with the 32"s
As another poster said, they have all the OD stuff plus they have integrated Netflix and Amazon Prime as well as Plex, which is a god send in itself.
Only problem for me is that I have a load of little boxes to shift, such as NowTV, Roku 3, Chromecast, AC Ryan media streamers etc. :disappointed:

I've got one of these. Generally its fine. I like the smart remote, and its nice to have iplayer, All4, youtube etc built in. One downside is if you plug in a hard disk to use for recording, there is only one tuner so it only records programs that are on screen. I recently got a HW-J355 sound bar and BD-J5500 Blu-Ray player which integrate nicely with the remotes. There is a small lag between the sound and pictures on low bit rate Freeview channels, but its noticably worse with the sound through the sound bar (DVDs are fine).

Most tuners have 1 channel. You can pick up external boxes that can do more than one. Personally I use an aftermarket sky boy which has 2 tuners.
There was an issue with the firmware which causes the video / audio sync issue. There is an update posted above you need to upgrade to.

Great tv! Got it for around £292 after factoring in bespoke price and cashback from topcashback. However, cashback rate was considerably higher then, around 15% for bespoke purchases. Voted hot as £359 is still good price for this tv.

The 40" one I got from rakuten the other day came with glasses and smart remote in the box. Wasn't Stated anywhere on the site, but I think they're as standard in the box.
(Bit peeved as I paid £439, but got £120 back in points, effectively making it £319, but money is better than points :disappointed:. )

I bought this TV on the 30th Dec last year from Richer Sounds for £399 with a 6yr guarantee. It's an excellent TV I would defiantly recommend it, the picture adjusts to the light. Mine came with 2 free pairs of 3D Glasses. I use mine for the bedroom and it is the perfect size. If it's the same price 10 months on I suspect the price will drop in the January sales.

I am using the latest firmware, and on Freeview there is still a lip syncing issue, but its generally not too bad. A separate Freeview box would fix it, but it is nice to have one small remote control that works for everything.

Great TV paid the extra £40 tho and got it from John Lewis, 5yr warranty is well worth the extra money!

Not if you knew that they have to give 6 years by law anyway. Check older posts.

That's the manufacturer not the retailer, I would rather deal with John Lewis than Samsung.

Nope. When you buy something your contact is with the supplier not the manufacturer. It is down to the supplier to deal with them.
