Not too much of note in Preston; I got some Star Wars hot wheels for half price, picked up the new series Lego minifigs for £2 but they weren't marked as reduced and a couple of mixels.
Some people had literally trolleys full of everything though.

OMG just got back from Sainsburys.. Crazy people! One women put a toy down for someone else to pick it up to accuse her of saying oh you only want it because I want it... It then kicked off down the main toy isle which you couldn't move in.. Someone left their young baby alone at the end of the isle because they couldn't fit trolley down.. Crazy

Lol, last year they were all fighting over the frozen dolls! Some poor guy who works in there got swamped by mums ripping open the outer cardboard boxes as he was trying to stock up at 9am because they had already sold those on the shelves. Crazy!

Had quite a bit, 50% fireman sam, 50% peppa pig, 50% nerf, 1/3rd frozen, 50%pay doh, 20% little live pets, 20% shopkins, 20% lego, 50% of their own brand toys, dinosaurs, lets play range, baby toys, dolls etc. 50% off toot toot stuff, 1/3rd doh vinci, 50% off craft sets, 25%
jigsaws and board games. 50% off barbie and monster high.They also had turtles, doc mc stuffin, hot wheels, vetch, my little pony and loads more, not sure on the discounts of these. There was also 50% off balance bikes, play kitchens, workbench and loads more.

didnt see the modulus. they had the mega multi shooter one a couple of the rebelle ones and lots of the smaller nerfs. mega ammo packs were 1.99 rtc

Thanks very much for the heads up on this. I'm very happy with my half price Nerf gun purchases, got a half price 'Girls World' type styling head for £6, and some Star Wars lego - definitely worth the trip!
And yes, the Nerf gun with the camera in it was there too - 'half price' it said, ie, forty something pounds.

I saw a huge nerf gun half price at £49? Not sure if thats the one people are on about but pretty sure it was the huge new one out. Very happy as i got the mega refills for £1.50 rtc, i got a couple of the mini guns for £2.50 - great pressies for partner's mates, and i got some disney princess soft toys for £4 each. Not a huge lot on offer, not as good a reduction on lego as usual but worth getting some hard to find sets. I went to westwood cross this morning and they had about 2.5 big aisles worth :smiley:

Just been it was great got all hot wheels half price ranging from the Matchbox size cars 75p to the volcano blast set from £40 down to £20 and lots in between- sets for £5-£15. Also all lego minimum 20% off. All nerf guns 20-50% off. Saw a red mega blaster down from £20 to £10. I have boys so was only looking at boys stuff tbh. All sainsburys own brand was half price. Lots of vehicles and dinosaur sets. Our sainsburys was a bit mental with dumb people trying to push their trolleys down the aisles when there was clearly no room! Good luck happy shopping!

Just been. I got the toddler Anna and Elsa for £12.49 each. They have the toot toot repair center half price for £19.99. They had loads of spiderman and avengers titan series for £6.49. Also while looking round I noticed some inflated prices. The barbie and horse at £59.99, in smyths its £39.99 reduced from £49.99. Marvel Mashers were more expensive too.

The sale used to be ALL toys half price instore and online. Last year and the year before I have been really let down by the sale. Very few items purchased. I've been more impressed with the sale on at the entertainer the last week or so. Spent a fair amount of £ and pretty much finished for Xmas.
That said I will certainly be checking out my local store on opening day in the hope of a few extra bargains :wink:

Been waiting for this. 3 yrs ago it was brilliant, 2 years ago not bad, last year only so-so. I see they daren't claim it a half price sale this time. You get the odd bargain. Nerf guns & bullets were half off and ditto lightsabers. Some good big toy bargains but that is on special stock brought in for Xmas tho the end of sale reductions were even better when they start to want the shelf space back for other Xmas stuff.

I found the lego is normally 25% off and flies off the shelves so if thats what you are after you're best to get there for opening on day one. Last year wasnt as good in my opinion, the bits I was after werent really any cheaper than buying on amazon and so I just bought loads of stuff I didnt need instead! This year I will attempt to stick to a list!
