they are £4 in tesco and asda also - i guess most of us wont have a waitrose card so cold from me!

i will admit i mistook the deal slightly as the OP states ‘’discount to £3.60 with my Waitrose card’’.
not knowing anything about waitrose it reads to me like you have to line up to use the OP’s waitrose card, or maybe if you work there you will have your own?
The OP should have been written a little more clearly to save confusion e.g.
‘’discount to £3.60 with myWaitrose card’’ leaving the gap out of my and waitrose then indicates that mywaitrose is an actual product (especially to the waitrose unsavvy e.g. me)
Or even if OP stated that the discount could have been had with ‘’A my waitrose card’’ leaving the space between my and waitrose but identifying it as a product by inserting a ‘A’
This would have saved a bit of confusion.
Theres just no excusing some comments such as ‘fool’ when they cant even see that!

in years, to come, if those seven sweets are selling for a fiver in all the other shops and only 3.60 in future waitrose then, yes, it'll be a good deal and i'm sure i'll be buying them. and i'm guessing youre still buying mars bars even though they were only sixpence in 1970, milk, even though it cost 9d a pint and i'm guessing you work for pounds, even though it's been inflated to 1/35 its worth since 1950?

I saw this offer today & picked up a tub, just came to see if deal had been posted to alert others. Why would you vote cold because you haven`t got a MyWaitrose card? It`s free & you can pick a temporary one at customer services! Get a free latte while you shop, and a free newspaper if you spend more than £5! What`s not to like?! Oh & often you can get another 20% off items that are already half-price with their "pick your own offers"
