Blimey, hadn't spotted that they're the pro ones, even more of a cracking deal (and a 5 year warranty on the drives too)

Recently bought QNAP TS-120 with 4TB Red for £128.77 and QNAP TS-119P II with 3TB Seagate for £114.47 as thought those were cheap... Don't know what to do with so many drives now, if this is fulfilled

Thanks OP, now ordered. Have been looking for a good NAS to backup all my PC's, Laptops and Websites. This seems to do all of these things and the QNAP NetBak Replicator gets a not too bad review also :smiley:

They are available for special order.
But I must say they are 99% a misprice and I don't think they will be honoured.
The same NAS with "normal" drives is 160£ more on the same site...
Thank you op for sharing but I do believe in cases when there is a huge chance of a misprice I believe it is acceptable to wait until you get your order before posting.
That way you increase your chances of getting an awesome price and decrease chances of people being annoyed by getting their orders cancelled.

I just took delivery of a Dell Poweredge server that was £245 without cashback and a couple of these may have tempted me back to a NAS over the server route as these Qnap are pretty good software wise and would of done what i needed without the added stress of setting up a server. I suspect that this is a misprice as the drives cost way more than the NAS and the NAS without drives is £100+ and with the mass of orders they will know theirs a issue, the OP should of kept this to himself until he took delivery of his own and hoped no other forum member spotted and posted it. Good luck though.

Ok, I bagged one. What can it do?
Can I set it up so as the stuff I download gets copied on to it, and can I then access this from the interweb?
Can I sync it with nzbgeek so it just downloads stuff itself?
Any help and links for how best to use would be much appreciated, thank you.

They are brilliant boxes, I have one and so do the in-laws, they back up to each other over the VPN (just one of the features).
You can install SABNZBd with an automated downloader for TV and movies (Couchpotato or Sickbeard) on it to download and store, then run Plex on it to watch on your TV or other device straight from the NAS, at home or even over the web if you connect in via a VPN or port forwarding. There are no end of apps available for it to run servers for home automation, CCTV, web servers, media servers all from the NAS.

I don't think that would have mattered. I only went for it because it's exactly what I'm after at the moment but I never really expected them to send it at that price. I do wonder if companies do this on purpose sometimes to get people's contact details. Let's see if I start getting more spam email....

Open and shut on the rights;
From their website terms
"1.2 No valid contract exists between you (the customer) and the Supplier for sales of goods until your order has been dispatched by the supplier and the payment of the order has been received and cleared in its entirety."
So they can do this, legally with no recourse. Definitely will be getting my account deleted at least.
