These are super usefull for reaching on top shelves, in the garage, reaching the gutters, changing light bulbs, for the kids to jump off,...
If you haven't got one, get one!

I'm 5'8"
Arm outstretched I'd guess 7'
Gutters a bit higher than that.
Sh1t falls in gutters and 5'8" of me can't reach.
Me + above step can reach.

Ah totally understood, but if your gutter is just over 7' high, why not just not buy one of these and stand on one of the other Borrowers' back

You can get them for £2.99 at Home Bargains in the DIY section. If you don't care about the folding bit, then you can get the same size & dimension mini stool for £1.99.

Useful but broke mine within a week. Might be worth buying a few at this price...

I got mine a while ago and it's still going strong.

I had a home bargains one break, I think you have to be careful to not put your weight focused in the centre, at 11 stone, I'm not putting an excessive weight on it, my others are all fine, now I'm a bit more careful. There doesn't seem to be any difference between Wickes or Home Bargains, but about half the price of my local Asian budget emporium.

I've got loads of these around the house for various purposes and they are pretty sturdy. I got the same thing from Dunelm Mill a while ago when they were 10p or so.

Got this exact stool myself, and with not much use it already feels likes it's about to break. I wouldn't buy another one.
