Not very techie minded & was wondering whether it's possible to have the entertainment & movie passes in use at the same time on 1 tv or whether it's only 1 pass per tv?

Hi, today I got my second Now TV box. I wanted to redeem the code to get additional 3 months to my 2 months left from my first box code. But I got an error message that a voucher has already been applied to the subscription and that I cannot add another. Does that mean that the 3 month code only works if it is my first subscription?

You have already a voucher running on your account so wait for that one to expire before adding the next one, unfortunately you can't load them all on at once. Hope this helps

You can use it, you just have to wait until closer to the end of your existing pass, I think the new pass becomes redeemable sometime in the last two weeks of an existing pass but others may know the exact timeframe.
As the passes are valid for at least a year after purchase, this isn't any problem, your pass should still be valid when you come to use it.
I'm pretty sure Now TV only allow one active pass at a time to prevent people from 'stacking' passes when they are cheap and ending up with potentially years worth of cut price entertainment or movies access.

A lot of people do this, but maybe now tv could make it clearer, the code isn't meant to be used at sign up, the sign up code section is for joining offers or discounts, you actually have to make your account (no codes) then log in (ideally on a regular pc with browser) and then apply your code in the my account section.
Also if you have never used now TV before you should get a 30 day free trial so you would actually get four months including your 3 month pass.[/quote]
OK thanks for the advice ... I've got it now. They needed new credit card details albeit 3 months free. Reminder to self and others to cancel subscription before direct debit kicks in.

Oh thats unfortunate. So I bought it but have had some troubles with the site. I bought it via paypal and signed up for an account. The site crashed in the sign up process so I've ordered it but dont have an account and it has charged my paypal account.

Think I'll get one. Anyone know if Netflix works on this (with plex). Currently using a smart dvd player which is so slow... Could anyone give some examples of what You use plex for which works well? Thanks
Edit: Bought one

Looks like they have all gone? Not letting me add the entertainment one to basket and the movies on sold out, wish I had got some of those, they hardly ever discount the movies that much....

I purchased this NOW TV box including a free 3 month entertainment pass. I have registered online, but the code given does not work in the sign up screen. I have tried the 3 month and one month options and re entered the code several times. I've taken it up with NOW TV and waiting to hear.
In the meantime, any ideas? Anyone else having this problem?
Thanks Pete

Phone them up and they will apply the code for you.
I had the same problem with a code and was told by Customer Care it was because I had cancelled a reoccurring payment, which cancelled the contract. They are very helpful

Is there a time limit on when you have to use the 3 months free pass by? I mean couldn't you buy more than one of these and keep using the 3 months free passes therefore never having to pay the monthly fee or cancel after 3 months on one box and then register another.

Do you think that if I cancel, I should leave it for a couple of weeks before I start a new offer? Just wondering if they might get a bit funny about it!

You'll get whatever you paid for, regardless of when you cancel, so yes you will continue to get a months viewing - at least thats always been the case whenever I've cancelled

Thank you for letting me know about this. As they have only just taken another month's payment, if I cancel today, will I get the rest of the month to view, or will they cancel as from today (so that I would have paid £9.99 for only a couple of days viewing)? Thank you.

I've had one of these boxes for over a year now and have been charged £9.99 a month. Last week, I got an email from them saying that my debit card that they were using for my monthly payment, had expired and to let them know my new debit card details. I ignored it as I decided not to continue at £9.99 a month, and instead to consider in the near future to take up a new offer (ie, like above), however, a couple of days later I noticed that £9.99 had been taken by them from my bank, using my new debit card - just wondering how they found out my new card number, etc, as I hadn't given them that information - surely the bank wouldn't tell them those details over the telephone without asking me for permission first?

its called a Continuous Payment Authority (CPA). even if the old card expires they still get paid until YOU cancel. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/recurring-payments
you need to login to your NOWTV account and cancel the pass.

Quite simply turns the Now TV box into a home media streamer.
