Mad Max is light years ahead of San Andreas. I wouldn't recommended watching San Andreas unless someone is paying for your time to be wasted.

I'm a fan of all the old Mad Max films, and personally I thought the new one was absolutely superb. A dark and bizarre vision of what a post nuclear future could be like. I don't understand the hate.
San Andreas... Hmm. Yeah I agree with that.

This is hot deal if you receive the item
I have ordered old chromecast month ago and still waiting and they are not cancelling my order as well, saying that I have to return the item first which I have never received
Which makes no sense
Wuaki.tv, I am very disappointed.

Odd then that San Andreas is at 50% on rotten tomatoes, while Mad Max Fury Road is up at 97%...

17 Oct 15#51
San Andreas was the worst film I've seen in a long, long time. The plot must have taken a few hours at most to write, and the script not much longer. The acting is abysmal, the characters are all cliché and totally unimaginative and even the special effects/CGI are nothing special.
OTOH I've seen Fury Road 4 times, 3 at the cinema and would watch it again. Its by far my favourite film of the year.
julianjones9003 to nickkelly

San Andreas/Fury Road completely interchangeable in your mini review. Why anyone would pay 3 times to see Fury Road at the cinema I just don't know, I wanted a refund!

for those who enjoyed mad max, check out a film called "Turbo Kid"
it was made last year (I think) but it's a "love letter", if you will, to the 80's sci-fi action films and is absolutely fantastic
julianjones9003 to HankHandsome
17 Oct 15#40
I thought the new Mad Max was utter rubbish, but Turbo Kid is indeed worth a watch.
I'm still trying too work out if I really need the updated Chromecast tbh, the original plays all I throw at it.

This is really hard to believe, but Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson is one of the highest grossing stars of Hollywood. In fact, he was the highest earning Hollywood actor of 2013. San Andreas grossed over $380 million in global ticket sales, a very decent figure for an average film.

It's a modern equivalent of those terrible 1970s disaster films like Earthquake and Poseidon Adventure. If you like that type of film then you'll like San Andreas. I quite liked it and Mad Max. Not the worst films I've seen this year.

San Andreas a cheesy cliché CGI-fest with hilariously poor acting.
Absolutely loved Mad Max though. Fantastic styling and visual effects aided by a simple but well-written and acted storyline.

It's probably the insane yet strangely rational aspects.
Has elements of the 3 original films, throws in some new stuff then centers it around a massive car chase.
Failing that it has boobs, explosions and violence with some good humour mixed in.

Buyers should be aware
There is a 3 years limitation to your movie purchase, the FAQ suggests that they may extend it
But if there is an option to download (through their Android app) you may be able to keep it forever
They sell the movie cheaper without the "free" Chromecast here SD £9.99 HD £13.99
