Normal RRP is £25 and I have not seen these reduced since they came out a few months ago. Uses restricted firmware with no Netflix but otherwise the same as the Roku 2, which is 5x faster than the white Now TV box as well as having an ethernet, USB and micro so slot. Scanned as £20 and also showing £20 on the shelf, came up as sport on the receipt for some reason. I don't know if this is everywhere or a store specific wild goose chase. It was purchased from Warrington Stockton Heath store, there were others left and the Sport box was also £20 but the Movies is better value, normally £19.98 for the 2 months movies alone. Not sure if PLEX can be set up on the new one like it can on the white boxes. Oh, and they have pumpkins for 50p and cheap toilet paper!

She also said "I've also made adjustment on your a/c,now you may add any 3 devices of your choice and watch NOW TV" so even though says still only 2 devices simultaineously do you think can now watch 3 devices simultaineously? I'll have to check & let you know.!?

They do ask for card details, but you can cancel your subscription online or contact/chat them & they will remove your card details if you're not due to have payment taken/cancel. Do you have to give bank details when signing up or does it not ask because it comes with the movie pass anyway?

This is a UK wide deal. local morrisons had it in a stand alone cardboard display unit for £25, yet on shelves at £20, scanned and paid £20 via self service till.

I believe it has all the movie channels that Sky are showing, including Disney. There is even a Disney section on the menu. The only thing that think Amazon has that Now TV really needs is a watch list it was really useful. I would also really like a Now TV app for our Samsung TVs, apparently it's only on LG TVs which is going down the Amazon route of restricting the options for viewing for no good reason. I wish amazon, Netflix and Now TV would compete on service and price instead of restricting viewing options, and remember there's no such restrictions with illegal downloads.

Does anyone know what Sky Movie channels are included in this offer? Can I watch the Sky Movies Disney channel with this?

Very easy to cancel online, just login and choose cancel pass, and it will expire on the end date. If you give cost as the reason, you may get an offer to stay, such as half price for 3 months. I have heard it's the actual sky TV service that's hard to cancel.

Thanks mate. Yeah, tried to cancel Sky before and they give you all this spiel and I ended up staying.
It's just becoming too expensive and I like the idea of no contract with Now.
Is the black one the best to go for then? As opposed to the white version?

Amazon TV service is not a patch on Now TV imo, although it's worth having if you make use of Prime.

New to this streaming thing.
Thinking of ditching Sky or reducing to basic package allowing on demand.
Read lots of stories about the best box to get for movies, Now TV, Amazon...etc.
Also heard that people have problems cancelling their subs for Now TV as well.
Confused.

Just out of interest, has anyone found it at this price at a different store. I'd hate to be inadvertently initiating a gaggle of wild geese chases!

Just tested it, and I'm a bit disappointed that the USB port isn't used. It would have been ideal for using my hard drive if it worked. Same with the micro SD slot. It is noticeably faster though, and ideal for anyone who needs a wired connection instead of WiFi. It's back in the box until 1st November though, due to sky's PITA rule about only 1 new device per month. :disappointed:

I don't understand why you can't have more NOW TV boxes on one account, I'd have one in every room with a TV, limiting it to 4 is far too low, as most of us use a PlayStation as back-up when the little boxes go wonky (and they display at a higher resolution) and a PC (which I use so I can check content when reporting the numerous faults with their service). So I'm stuck to two boxes when I have three (I'd like to get the new one too). You can only use two at a time so I don't see what the limit is for?
If you go to live-chat they'll remove your boxes for you so you can add a new one, just say you'd like to replace the older one.

It is hard not to see the difference if you have a good full HD TV.
