fruit scones are a crap recipe compared to plain Devon scones which are far superiour,the sweet fruit covers up the cheap rubbish ingreadients.

I fully concur..... by chance was in M's last night and saw these, hadn't seen this OP, anything they were splendid, went down well accompanied with a lovely brew, the cream was dribbling everywhere, yum yum!
