I believe this is the cheapest it's been on PS4 for a physical copy from a reputable company. Ideal if you have any credit to use!

I've heard nothing but bad things about this game. It's lost all it's Metal Gear-ness

The game that's almost universally been given 10/10 in reviews?
It's a brilliant game, I'm a huge fan of the series but had my concerns about the switch to the mission format - I needn't have worried, it's exceeded my expectations and then some.

From who? or where? Your mate Dave who loves to PewPew and QQ over his K/D ratio?

Pretty much everything after the superb intro is awful. Its basically a Far Cry game. Its very repetitive and chapter 2 recycles the missions from 1 and they also cut chapter 3 out of the game. Story is complete bobbins as the story and characters go completly nowhere. Avoid this game at all costs. If you want a MGS fix play 1-4 as MGS5 is a cash grab.

The story is unfinished garbage BUT the gameplay is fantastic. Some people seem to have rose-tinted glasses where this game is concerned and it is defo not 10/10 but even with its many flaws it is definitely worth playing.

I'm glad all console gamers aren't so daft. Most pay these prices and just keep the game without re-selling or game sharing ect. Doing what you're doing could actually be cheaper then PC gaming (that's if you buy all PC games digitally). Obviously i know i prefer PC gaming because ti does everything better, but consoles can be very expensive, but quite cheap if you're savvy like you seem to be.

It is but console gaming can be cheap if your smart like price matching, buying second hand and selling the game at the right time can lessen the loss or even a small profit. Also being in the right place at the right time like I have just managed to get fallout 4 for 30 pounds for PS4. Thats the last game i'm buying for a while though and will last me a year or two without buying any other games and with the hours i get from it the price is a bargain.

Yeah I only got to about 56%, did a lot of the side ops too. Didn't bother with Online. I try and finish games and trade them in whilst the value is still high, especially in this season when all the decent releases are due (Fallout, Star Wars, etc). If I like the game I'll buy it again when it hits around £20, normally around the price I get back after original trade-in

nope. if all of it was like the intro it would have been good. the intro was classic MGS. it goes downhill once it went open world.

maybe he played it like a FFS because this game is nothing like far cry 3/4 it's much better and far cry 3/4 are good games. Agree chapter 2 does kind of spoil it i remember finishing act 1 thinking if this game finished now i would of been more than happy.
Charter 2 is basically charter 1 repeated with the difficulty turned up it should never of been on the main mission list it should of been as bonus trophy extra. My advice to anyone who is satisfied with chapter 1 and wants to move on to other games without struggling on harder settings would be to watch the truth ending on youtube along with listening to the truth cassette tapes other than a short moving mission in a tent u will not miss out on much doing this.

I enjoyed it. Sure, chapter 2 felt rushed, and the recycled missions should have had their own section rather than been included as "numbered" missions... but I completed the game without playing the recycled missions and still had a blast. Such a shame it was not complete - the loss of Chapter 3 is a big deal by the time you reach the end - and the true, hidden ending cheapened the entire game for me. But still, as an experience, it is probably the best game I have played since GTA V. Certainly one of few games that kept me invested from beginning to end.
Got my copy for £35 Tesco double up and just traded in for Game credit for £34 (price match CEX). Win win

stop just stop. I have played and tortured myself to finish this game and it is like a Far Cry game. Clear outpost and repeat until story abruptly ends. thankfully i only borrowed this from a friend so didn't pay anything for it. if the whole game was like the intro it would have been brilliant. you can just tell most reviewers only played a small amount of chapter 1 as if they finished chapter 2 the game would have gotten scores in the range of 6/10.
