Sergio Tacchini, Fila, Elliese, Kappa, Diadora, these brands were what teenage kids/young adults wanted in the 80's, think most of them now have been taken over and trade in the lower end nowadays but check out any wimbeldon final from that era for some wicked designs.

I remember in 1993 bought this brand with simliar look for £69.99. Cannot fault the price (Poor old chinese worker)

Matsui was Currys' own brand and Saisho was Dixons', from when they were fairly separate, although both were cashing in on supposed superior Japanese technology with the names. In fact Currys was fined over thru our marketing of it.

That still doesn't improve their appearance I'm afraid...

Well I've learnt something from all these comments - I hadn't realised this iconic brand made it past the couple of years in the early 80s when we all had to have the label (even if it was Wembley market knock-off).
