Great game, surprised it hasn't dropped in price much but then Nintendo first party games don't often tend to by much.

First party Nintendo games are quality but overall as a company they are a bit of a relic.

How is sticking to the same RRP 'blatant price fixing'? They can charge whatever they like for Mario Kart & seeing as it's one of the top selling games for the Wii U there is obviously demand for it. In what world does 11 million consoles = no demand? Quit your whingeing :wink:

11 million consoles in three years suggests there's no demand at all. It's just Nintendo being Nintendo and with them struggling to remain relevent they can't keep these high prices up. There's a reason they're going down the mobile route in the future.

No, the game being popular has nothing to do with it still costing so much. Nintendo have a poor habit of never dropping the prices of their first party games. They got done for price fixing in the past and it's high time they got investigated again. Nintendo games are the only ones that hold a high price. If a game is rare I can understand second hand copies going for a high price on eBay. But when brand new copies are going for close to RRP months and even years after release its blatant price fixing.
