Has anyone used the G Flex2 as a Turn-By-Turn GPS for a good period of time? Interested in how hot it gets when doing this??

Can get it cheaper at £199.95 from Simply Electronics - Vendor banned by HUKD so may be risky.

do not touch simply electronics, they are crooks. I used to work manage the customer services for a company that advertised them for a while - we received no end of complaints over undelivered goods and more.

Bought it for my wife some time ago - beautiful and fast, very quickly updated to latest android version...best value phone at the moment in my opinion - currently around £200 from rakuten(expansys) with code

it is the best value phone about.i paid 190 for my 32gb model.its a hair behind a s6 and in some ways better.battery for instance and shape.curve makes a difference.and its barely bigger than s6 even with perfect screen size 5.5.for this price its silly money

I agree, a brilliant phone. Dont know what other phone you could get with these specs for this little money.
Also, you can get the 16GB model for £186 delivered from an eBay seller in Germany, an absolute steal.
I dont think you'll get the 3GB of RAM version from the UK, that one is coming from the US

Considered the MStar 7000 pro, the Elephone P9000 or the Xaiomi Mi5?, all due to be released this Xmas or just after, all cheaper and all far more powerful, only reason I ask is that I'm the market for the G4 too, well i was before reading up on those 3 phones lol.

I've got the 1st gen version... Love it, best phone I've ever had! Liking this new(ish) one but still has 2gb ram so going to wait until the 3gb/32gb version is more available.

I bought my LG G2 from them a year and a half ago. They're not UK based but they might as well be. EU laws mean all warranties etc are valid throughout the EU. I thought my phone was broken (it wasn't I was just being an idiot) so they gave me a freepost sticker to send to Germany I think and I had the phone back in a few weeks. The only reason I ever noticed my phone was not from the UK is because I got an adapter for a two pin charger. Otherwise it's the same!

Avoid them, two times received a used lg G4 instead of a new one. The second time there was a Samsungcable in the box

And to balance that; we got 2 g flex and recently a g flex 2. All new, sealed and immaculate. Delivered next day, superbly packaged. Yes they are EU versions and you get an adaptor in the package, but I have so many chargers at home, it didnt bother me at all.

Great phone for an amazing price. I was so close to buying but the 3gb ram, 32gb storage, better camera and removeable battery of the G4 was worth the extra to me.

Just got this recently too from expansys and really happy with it too.. it feels a quality phone in the hand. Runs cool for me and is very smooth on 5.1.1, getting 5-6 hours screen on time browsing the internet and watching videos youtube, bbm etc, though i don't run facebook

it is a quality phone... Lucky use They had issues to begin with so price has gone down a lot. Snapdragon 510 runs smoothly as you said
I would wait until Ratuken do their payday (likely Monday 26th) deal or points promo plus discount code.
They currently have a 25x points promo for spending over £200. Buy one for £227 and get £56.75 to spend on Rakuten. The only catch is that the 25x points doesn't show on checkout but Rakuten promise to apply the points to your account at a later date.

For a £15 saving get from Expansys. Phone is the Czech version but you get the EU warranty protection.
Echo comment above, this is a cracking phone. All the software issues have been ironed out so most reviews don't give a true reflection of how good this. The curve is so subtle and it's lovely the hold.
Apparently the phone is getting Android 6.0 as well.

The phone is amazing. I love it to bits. Runs very quickly (does not heat with latest updates) and has lolipop 5.1.1
