"This is a very nice towel warmer if it had been the right size. I wrongly assumed that the 450mm width referred to the centre of the pipe inlets which in my case are 450mm. It actually refers to the outside width of the rails which in my case was irrelevant. Its the connection points which are important. Of course this only matters if you are replacing an existing towel warmer." - review on the website

the frustrating bit is that the website says it's in until you start going through the checkout, whereas the other one on the same offer actually says out of stock in the description.

True, but you wouldn't use one of these to heat a room properly.

Are they not very powerful

They're more decorative, you need a large one if you want it to heat the room. This one is large and should throw out a decent amount of heat, it's just over 500W and 1700 btu.

B and Q took my money, confirmed the order and issued a delivery date. Their courier (DX) emailed to confirm delivery date and to give a 3 hour time slot. I stayed in, they didn't show. Rang B and Q the next day and was told delivery was cancelled.by DX so they'd look into it and ring me back. No return call was forthcoming so I emailed complaint and then received an email basically saying they don't know when they'll be back in stock so are processing a refund.
Rubbish service by B and Q and this is the second time in a month they've done it to me. Wouldn't be so bad if they advised OOS but to issue delivery date and time slots then for the customer to have to chase up after a courier no-show is just an appalling waste of my time and energy.
I'm not a happy B and Q customer!

Unlucky to the person above. I got mine delivered today. My builder has complained it's not powerful enough for the ensuite but it's my house, not his, so he'll bloody well fit what I give him.

Amen to that! perhaps if he spent more time building and less time complaining about my purchases and coffee making ability, the project might be moving a little bit faster!!!
