I asked at the customer service area and was told that this would be a national deal.

I purchased two at the Wyvern Derby tonight, 16/10. I rang first, helpfull assistant checked barcode over phone, and they confirmed yes it was £8, and yes they had them in stock. On arrival, 10 minutes later, there was none on the shelf, but was lucky enough some in back. Appears to do job well.

No luck in Fosse Park, Leicester @ 9am today... in fact went through till @ £30 when shelf label was/ is £20 and subsequent investigation confirms pricing error from last night, so well done to those who got @ £8 :man:

Had the rubber seals come out mid-blend which caused it to leak. replaced the seals with sugru which works well.

Bought one from Argos 2 months ago... DO NOT BUY. Motor already broken, I have yet to find the receipt and take it back to Argos

Must have just been unlucky and got a faulty one. I've had mine over 2 years now, used about 3 times a week. Crushes ice no problem.
I usually buy the blackberry, blackcurrent, redberry, raspberry frozen fruit packs from Sainsburys for about £2, a few spoonfuls of that, add 4 spoon fulls of fat-free Onken Vanillla, Strawberry or Greek yogurt, add 4 ice cubes and a dash of milk... that's my regular smoothie. :sunglasses:
