The title suggests it's a lighting sale but it looks like the discount is only on bulbs :disappointed:

Sounds like you should do yourself a favour and install a fitting that takes several bulbs. Several smaller light sources will also make for much softer shadows than one large source.

Too right you can't get LED bulbs that are bright enough for large rooms/high ceilings. Old-style 150 watt lamps were common enough, but to get that level of light (around 2600 lumens) from an LED (or CFL) you'd need around 30 watts - and how often do you find 30w LEDs or CFLs?

Do these have a 3 year warranty? If not I'm going to price match them with PC World!

No you're right, i've just had a look. I am surprised there aren't really high lumen ones. When we got replacement bulbs for our 120 watt lounge lights, the LED's were like bright sunlight in the middle of the day, sunglasses are needed. They must be very high ceilings.

I know 105w is a lot but 1980 lumens speaks for itself.

So you're saying you can't get a LED bulb that's bright enough? I must admit, that's a new one to me.

105 watt bulb! Blimey, look after your dosh and go LED mate. Unless you are close to popping your clogs it will pay for itself.

When you have tall ceiling you need that wattage. It's too dark otherwise. But the bulb works wonders
