Be easy on me, it's my first post!
I've been hunting round Nottingham Tesco's for the Grey Goose Pear for £19 when I found this little beauty. Price is due to discontinuation so I'd presume it's national. Think the RRP is around £14.
Found in Canning Circus Tesco.

Being a JD Man and a collector as well, after trying JD Honey when it first came on the scene, got to say i was disappointed with the chemical after taste (kept another btl of it tho for ma collection)
btr trying something like Drambuie or Glayva along those lines as a wee chaser;)

Stick to the urine, you'll save a fortune!

it was the comment 'for those can't take straight spirits' that i was referring to, and not your opinions on how spirits should be drank, personally i hate the taste of neat whisky and brandy, i'd sooner drink my own urine, but i don't think anyone cares much about my opinion, or indeed yours

Nothing to prove I drink most spirits with mixers apart from premium range whisky and brandy. I just think that jd is sweet enough without added honey. My tastes, my opinions.

Love this stuff...1 part whisky and 2 parts cold water and ur sorted.
And if you're into that try a rusty nail cocktail... Amazing.

Just a thought are these like the new alcopops (stronger) for those that can't take straight spirits?
Heat all the same.

You make it sound like it's some huge achievement drinking neat spirits? i'm not 17 years old anymore, and prefer drinking with a mixer, no longer have anything to prove and it tastes nicer

no your thinking of sourz and the garbage "shots" the pubs sell on a weekend that are 20% abv , this is a honey whiskey

I think the Jim beam honey is not as sweet and was probably a better deal at £9.89 for the 70cl from tesco

I went on a bourbon tasting night and we sampled some honey ones, I was told ...JD has no honey, it's a chemical, Jim bean is 50% honey 50% chemical, Evan Williams is 100% honey, ..I love em all tho, JB maple is nice, not as sweet.

It's a great drink, keep it in the fridge then pour it over some ice cubes, leave for a few minutes, swirl the glass then enjoy!

It's best on it's on or with a splash of lemon juice. Unfortunately I'm a student and I need to make it stretch so I've gone for lemonade on this occasion lol.
