Just make sure you make it to the toilet in time...
Have tried these twice now and they are of excellent quality.
Chicken dishes have a good amount of meat. Lamb? less so.
In the Tikka Masala you can taste lemon juice, (not just acidity), and the Jalfrezi gives you fresh chillis, not just heat.
The samosas and bhajis crisp up really well in the oven and are good on size and quantity.
Plenty of large spinach in the Chicken Saag Masala.
The rice is a little small, so you may wish to buy pouches separately.
The containers are useful, too, of course.
The theoretical price of each dish is £3.25 with each side £1.30, so you're getting a nominal £9.10 for £4. Bargain! :sunglasses:

Got a couple of chicken jalfrizes, onion bhajis and a veggie curry, had it tonight and I have to say it was pretty good, amazing for £4 actually.....and I like a decent curry.

Tried this yesterday .. not bad at all
2 curries, 4 veggie samosas and 6 onion bhajis all for £4. Made own rice in the rice cooker so all was well.
Would seem a waste to me ... buying rice as a 'side' ... cooking rice is easy, even | can do it

I also do, I caved to the £10 in Sainsbury's, didn't realise with the signs and stuff it still works out more than aldk lidl, for me the aldi & lidl are the best microwave curry, bigger serving's and tastier!

Well you started and replied to my comment with your troll language not me. Even now the same.
My comment only being that Indian food is much more than this cheap supermarket are flogging us. Shouldn't expect more than mediocre from them. And yes everyone is entitled to their opinions. Nevertheless if everyone starts replying every comment they are annoyed with this forum is like to crash. Hope this concludes..

I have tried Morrisons in the past (when we were having a new kitchen fitted )and have to say they are probably the worst of a bad bunch..tasteless and 'gloopy'..making your own is the only way to go for curry... you know what's in it and its cheaper

Don't forget the free movie rental from sainsburys entertainment! I got the same deal on Friday and it was really good especially the biriyani. The bombay potatoes were super spicy though. At least for me anyway.

I guess some people like some people don't. I'm no fan of these usually from the other supermarkets but found the Morrisons ones to be much better than others.
Why can't they make curries and jar curry sauces like the actual takeaway curries?

Guess what people in India eat for breakfast? :stuck_out_tongue: well, somewhat traditionally anyway - never been there so I'm guessing.
I do know in some countries, roti pratha (both sweet and savoury varieties) and naan bread are very common breakfast items.
