ok, for instance i had £35 on a giftcard (must be giftcard not game wallet) - i just went into store and just purchased a physical giftcard with money from my game wallet.

i then online ordered something close to the £35 and must be a physical item e.g. a game and not DLC etc and must be in stock not a preorder and from GAME not one of those resellers.
me i ordered Payday on xbox one preowned for £29.99 and xbox game thumb grips for £4.99 and paid using giftcard
as soon as you get "thank you for your order" etc, go into account and orders, find the items - it could be under 'Order number' or 'Status' and then cancel each items on the order.

wait 10 minutes and you will get an email with an egift certificate for the £29.99 and £4.99 (they will be separate egift certificates), you can then use the egift certificates on preorders :smiley: i then put the extra £1 or so from paypal/reward points

one thing i noticed is, the egift certficate must be value wise under the value of the title you wish to preorder..
for instance you want Halo 5 and use the 5OFFGAME code, that makes the game £36.99 the egift voucher cannot be more than the £36.99

i work close to a GAME Store, so getting a giftcard etc is no hassle to me, but that is what i do!
some might say well i aint doing all that, which is fair enough but for me anything that breaks GAME's system is worth doing it in my eyes :smiley:

Hey everyone, I have £40 on my GAME wallet but when I add halo to my basket it says "you can not use Game wallet because you have a preorder item in your basket". Does anyone know if I can get round this? Thanks

Just a heads up for anyone waiting on pay day, GAME do tend to take money any when up to a week before release these days. I've had an email saying it will be taken on Wednesday.

I am sure you can use the gift cards online no problems, its if you have stuff in your game wallet its a pain.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry - I've never had a pre-order arrive later than launch day from GAME.

I pre ordered skylanders a few yrs ago and it was delivered on day of release. I heard a few ppl have pre ordered games from here and they also got them on release day.

I was about to order this earlier at the check out, I note the following statement: 'This Preorder is due to be shipped on 27/10/2015'. Does this mean they are going to send out the copy on the 27th? (Which will probably reach after 27th) or is this usually the delivery date. I understand the smythtoys also have a stock available on 27th message, that's why I'm a little suspicious.
