If you buy the Halo 5 digital standard edition on GAME you actually get sent a code for the Deluxe (£70) edition.

I have just bought it and can confirm I have the deluxe version with the extras,
The digital edition of Halo on the Xbox one store is £50, so at £45 you are still saving £5 even if game fix the glitch.
If you already have a pre-order on the Xbox store you can contact Microsoft chat and have it refunded and get this deal,

The main reason I have heard is that is the only way to appease retailers if digital was cheaper they would refuse to stock physical copies. it's why a lot of THQ games when they were around couldn't even be bought digitally in the UK.

I'd probably go digital, as my brother's been nagging me to say he wants to play it once it comes. Although the rest of the family are away during that week so apart from work that's my week sorted :laughing: Just seems they're a bit lacking. I mean the Halo 4 Limited Edition (which is really what this is equivalent too) included the series, some customization and the Season pass which will inevitably come for this anyway.
I just much prefer a physical copy, it's nice having a collection you can look at :stuck_out_tongue:
Req Packs to me are just pointless because as much as I love Halo's online, I really don't have the time to enjoy multiplayer games like I used too anymore.

Hell of price that. I'm in the same boat as you, also when it's a series I love as much as as I love Halo, I like seeing the case sitting on my shelf. But then I do love the idea of not having to change discs, particularly considering my current obsession with Destiny, which I have on disc.

BTW, don't think anyone else has mentioned this yet but you also get a download credit for the Halo: Spartan Assault game on XB1 (goes for £7.99 on the store and supposedly not half bad). Not sure whether this is actually specific to the Deluxe version or whether it comes with all digital purchases of the game but there you go.
Found out about this in the small print on the Digital Deluxe version's Xbox Store page:
"Order to receive... a copy of Halo: Spartan Assault. To redeem your copy of Halo: Spartan Assault search for 'Halo: Spartan Assault' in the Xbox Store and download the game."
Downloading it for free now, so it works!

Can also confirm as working, shows on email as standard but when I redeemed it it's Digital Deluxe.
