Cheaper than it was last time around, this little barebones machine comes with a reasonable processor i3-4010U (passmark of 2449) and a whole host of decent ports:
* Gigabit LAN (Realtek RTL8111G)
* 2 x Front USB 3.0 1 x head phone jack with SPDIF
* 1 x HDMI
* 1 x Mini DisplayPort
* 2 x rear USB 3.0
And, the best part is that it contains a small projector so you can watch your movies or play your games without a monitor. The projector is pretty low res @ 864 x 480 pixels and 75 lumens. However, it's an interesting unit nonetheless, and I'd love to have one to faff around with. At this price, for an i3 in this form factor I think it's a great price.

What I do is buy it first then hide it from the wife for a week. It is amazing how justification can just present itself to you during that time.
Shame so large but no sata port otherwise it would have been a ESX play thing.

that's why having anonymous beige box PCs is great, same old box, totally new inside ;-)

Only a week? I’ve managed keeping stuff below the radar for years.

I really fancy one of these but cannot justify buying one.

Might be a ideal hackintosh tempted

It's not particularly noisy at all. Shame the projector isn't brighter. You'll need to use it in a fairly darkened room, but it can be used independently, without turning the rest of the brix on if desired.

If it's a projector as well then it's going to be noisy!
