In order to get the game for "free" just buy a gold membership through the xbox one dashboard and then they send you the code of the game.

I just bought Xbox GOLD today as I say on that this deal was still on. I purchased a one year subscription, just because I was meaning to do it anyway, and seeing that I would get this game for free, I thought it would be a good deal.
Anyone who has done the same, can you confirm if you have received your copy of RYSE yet? If this takes 4 week, it is really going to be annoying...

This isn't expired. I'm currently out of gold and have been offered this on my dashboard.
I would be interested in taking this out but bit put off by the 4 week delivery time, if it takes that long does that mean I would basically need to have gold for 2 months? Makes it £12 and in my mind isn't worth that.
Can also confirm it says if you take it you have to download it by 31st jan 2016.

I enjoyed it.
Visuals are really nice but the story is very short and the fighting is essentially just timed blocks and strikes, like quicktime events without the actual buttons popping up on screen. I bought it for £12 so I didn't care it was short and the fighting was workable once you got used to it but I can understand why people who paid full price might feel ripped off.

Ryse is a good game which got slated for the button press sequences but you don't see uncharted get slated for the same thing, I found it more annoying in uncharted than ryse, I'd give ryse a solid 7/10, underrated and given a raw deal at launch.

You can pick up the Ryse (goty) for around £15 - £20. 1 year Xbox live around £20 from cdkeys and save money that way. £5.99 a month is expensive.

No. That "On US" is the title of the game i guess but you have to buy gold through the dash on your UK account.
