Quite a handy little step (emphasis on the little) because it's quite small, note the dimensions on Maplins web page. Got this a long while back when it was on offer for £5.99 no way ever worth £15.99 but a reasonable item at this price.

That was a bargain. 3.5 years ago mind you, so I don't think it's been anywhere near that price for some time.

Actually I realised I'd made a mistake on the link so corrected it, I bought it for £5.99 nine months ago which was a really good buy.

I. Bought one when they were about £5.99 too and it does the job. You have to wary of Maplin , lots of their products are over priced in the hope some sucker will buy them. Every Month they have a sale which reduces products down to the price they should have been.
Some items will be reduced further and the clearance section on their website is always worth checking. But dont go on what the previous price was, without checking wgat other retailers are selling the item for.
