The problem with ps+ is that whenever i see a game on sale i now assume it'll be free in the next couple of months...

Metro Redux is a bargain but I have it in physical. Torn between the walk-em-ups, but like most my backlog is too full to take on more. Hopefully they'll drop further / be added to PS+ at some point.

Some smashing deals there, especially Wolfenstein: New Order, IMHO it was one of the most underrated games of 2014.

I've been so disappointed with PlayStation + lately. I've been using my Xbox One more as a result. Microsoft have been pretty generous of late.

Been doing this for ages I've saved loads of money, got £16 cash back last week for 2 sims so it cost me £4 for £60 psn credit haha. Plus i had £1.80 to spend on games from play store. Got 2 more sims to top up this weekend :smiley:

If you top up by £10 (via 4444 or top-up card), you’ll have to do some mucking about with Google Play store and O2’s “Lend us a Quid” service to get the full £30 out.
For a smoother process, it’s best to call O2 customer services and top up by £11 (as it costs to send the necessary text).
Either way, you’ll have to wait for about an hour for the bonus credit to be added (dial *#10# to check).

£11 Top-up Method
Once you have the full £31 credit, go to your PSN account and select “add wallet funds”.
Click “use mobile”.
Select £30 and continue.
Enter your O2 mobile number and continue.
Wait for the message to your O2 phone and reply with “Y”.
£30 PSN credit for £11 and you also have 90p to spend on Google Play store :smiley:

£10 Top-up Method (needs O2 SIM to be in an Android phone)
This works as above but as the reply method uses 10p of credit, you don’t have enough to use the full £30.
Instead, select £25 and follow as above.
To get the remaining £5 across, you need to find something on the Play store that costs around £4.50 (or 2 that total this), using mobile billing to pay for it.
Dial 4444 and use the “Lend us a Quid” service (option 6 I think).
Go back to the Google Play store and get an instant refund on the app(s) to make the phone credit £5.90.
Then top up your PSN wallet by £5…
£30 PSN credit for £10 and you also have 90p to spend on Google Play store :smiley:

Some have been worried about the repercussions from not paying back “Lend us a Quid” but nobody has yet (6 months) reported any action from O2’s part.

Tips:
PSN limits to the frequency that you can do this (6 transactions a month) and there is also a ceiling of about £120 on your PSN wallet.
If ordering multiple SIMs in the same month, use multiple email addresses.
Once you've topped up your PSN wallet once it will may not give you an option to switch to another mobile - The change mobile number option only appears on the desktop version of the PSN website or when you flush your cookies.
You cannot get a 2nd refund for the same software on Google Play so you will have to find a different £4.50 app each time.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, much appreciated. I think what i'll do is pay for Rapture now (as it's been out for the less time, so i suspect it's less inclined to be reduced further) and hope that Vanishing drops further in price soon (or hits PS+/IGC).

I've finished both and enjoyed both. Ethan Carter has more interaction, Rapture's interaction is mostly opening doors, switching on things and listening to recordings.

I prefer Rapture overall, watch a video of Dear Esther (An older game by the same people) to give you an idea of gameplay. I'd ignore the reviews, if you like so called walking simulators I'm sure will enjoy both games.

SOMA is another game similar to these and excellent too, although it's not in the sale.

Really hoping we get Dark Souls 2 at a good price for Halloween. Been putting off getting it on PS4 as I had it on PS3. I never played all the DLC so I'd happily buy it again if it hits £15. Might grab Wolfenstein now though, £14.99 isn't too bad for a download...

The problem is there seems to be so many great games this year I still have to play. Arkham knight, witcher 3, mad max, mgs v, lotr shadow of mordor, bloodborne and halo 5 is out next week. Then not long after star wars battlefront, fallout 4, rise of the tomb raider. I just can't keep up, I've not even finished GTA V yet

Decent price for Volume considering it only came out a couple of months ago. Would've hoped for better discounts on most of the other stuff though.

MGS:GZ was a disappointment but MGS V is something else!
I know that opinions are a little divided but it's one of the bet games I've played this year...
Being a long-term fan of the series, I tried to play every mission as stealthy as I could but learned that there's often more fun in making a scene!
