Mcormack, are you serious?!
Why bother comment on something you obviously know nothing about.
Error fares are just that - an input error that is usually an airfare missing the high taxes or something. When an error fare occurs, which is surprisingly often, they last a very short amount of time before they are usually noticed by the airlines and corrected. If you are lucky enough to be quick and catch one, then you'd be flying to Tokyo for £155 return.
Sadly, soon after they get posted on sites like these, they are amended.
The fact that the OP decided to share it with you is a very generous thing to do, to call them a clown just goes to show how hugely naive you are.
Cheers OP for the heads up, someones going to Japan for an absolute steal! As for you mcormack, Im kinda glad you're not as it'd be insufferable sitting next to you on a flight.

"Istanbul (Not Constantinople)"
Istanbul was Constantinople
Now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Now it's Turkish delight on a moonlit night
Every gal in Constantinople
Lives in Istanbul, not Constantinople
So if you've a date in Constantinople
She'll be waiting in Istanbul
Even old New York was once New Amsterdam
Why they changed it I can't say
People just liked it better that way
So take me back to Constantinople
No, you can't go back to Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works?
That's nobody's business but the Turks

LOT will open route from Warsaw to Tokyo from January. It is possible, that it was done on purpose, to make a noise on internet portals, kind of "advertise almost for free". They sold couple of tickets "by mistake" for 155, and later, after they fix "mistake in booking system" for normal price. Anyway their tickets from Warsaw to Tokyo are quite cheap.

Except it's not just £155, you need to add flights/Eurostar to Paris CDG and then flights back from Warsaw or Istanbul. Still good value but it's not £155. Even using Aimiles you'll still need to add in additional £.
Well that completely depends, maybe someone is living in Paris. Maybe someone is travelling around Europe anyway and this is just the perfect deal for them.
The stone cold fact is that this is a DEAL if you got it in time.
Agree, I never disagreed it wasn't a good deal, it is.

rachelandgromit,
Well that completely depends, maybe someone is living in Paris. Maybe someone is travelling around Europe anyway and this is just the perfect deal for them.
Nothing stopping you from flying out and never taking the return flight, maybe you're on a RTW trip....it's a steal even if you use it as a one way fare.
The stone cold fact is that this is a DEAL if you got it in time.

When there is a Ryanair flight from Dublin for £9.99, people start crowing about how Dublin is not in the UK and it shouldn't be allowed on this website.
So where are they on this deal, crowing that Paris/Istanbul are not in the UK?! :smirk:

I think it may just be helpful to put in prices or Screenshots of flight prices that would connect up to the European destinations these flights depart from and return to so people have a clear idea of price from and to the UK. In the past I've has similar comments on my threads about it not being UK deals so in future will always be putting the price including the options for getting to and from UK destinations. It just helps people be clearer on pricing (and saves the complaints)!

Have done several of these error fares in the past. They're a great way to rack up airmiles for very cheap, did Milan-Rome-Paris-Singapore-Paris for £120 a few years back. Alas, until the flight is ticketed nothing is guaranteed, and often the airlines don't honor the fare (although sometimes they do, notably, BA's recent error fare to the US).
