Ah it's he time of month for this deal to resurface already?

It's a poor battery - heavy, slow to charge (both itself via mains and devices you connect) and pretty inefficient with its charge. While it is supposedly 22400mah, which would give my galaxy S6 nearly 10 charges (@100% efficiency) (2550mah battery), I'll probably get 3, maybe 4 charges out of it (~40% efficiency). It is also incapable of giving my hudl 2 a full charge, although Tesco don't specify a battery size for it (estimates seem to put it around 6000mah).

It will do the job and it's a relatively cheap product - it also can charge 3 things at once which is a bonus - but personally I would get a battery from another, more reliable brand. I have a ~7000mah anker battery pack and it charges my phone significantly faster, charges itself much faster and it'll give approx half the amount of charge I'll get out of this brick, despite being nearly 1/4 of the size.

Also it doesn't support charging of itself while also charging other devices. Not something I'd hold against it, as that isn't typically a feature on budget batteries, but worth mentioning as I always see it asked 2-3 times.

Just wondering, is there any power bank (that's not obscenely expensive) that's capable of charging a laptop?

If you need a battery pack of this size Then just buy an Anker 1.

Mine is 21000 capacity and was only £20 delivered on amazon from Anker direct . Both USB ports auto select the ampage so that the item being charged gets it in the fastest time and the pack itself is fast charging too. Superb quality and a great company to deal with, even has a nice little bag to carry it in.

guys could you please tell me if this can charge laptops such as macbooks and windows laptops ?

Depends what you're comparing it to I suppose. My other battery charges it at least twice as fast and charges itself in no time at all. This thing I have to leave charging for a good 6+ hours to get it full and it doesn't charge my devices nearly as quickly.

Sure, it's only £20, but you can get better makes of similar sizes for around £20 also. I'm not comparing this to £50+ devices, I'm comparing it to other devices in the £10-20 region. Very surprised to hear you get 6 charges out of it with your note 4, as that has a larger battery of 3220mah. Granted, 86% still isn't amazing, but it's significantly better than what I get.

It's possible I got a bad one, but my experience seems to be pretty accurately reflected by most of the reviews I've read, so I doubt it. It's by no means an unusable device, but I wish I'd bought a better one rather than being suckered in by a deal like this earlier in the year because I had a camping trip coming up.

Great pack. As others have said, it's a bit big and heavy to carry all the time so I have a smaller one for day to day use (also smaller capacity though), but for camping trips etc it's perfect because of its huge capacity. Mine's been going 6 months now and no problems at all with it, it performs very well. Fantastic pack and a fantastic price!

I always use the 2A slot for charging my phone, the 1amp is just too slow.

I have had mine over six mouth's the best buy i have bought, went to a lot of festivals and managed to change my phone and my tablet as a biult in torch as well

..i have the xiaomi power bank it is quick and reliable also cheap

I use my first generation one to charge my Gstmin 800 on long cycle rides. it charges very quickly and reliably and will recharge the Garmin 10+ times at least.
A great bit of kit and highly recommended.

I have this and charges my ipad air2 and iphone 6 perfectly fine ideal for keeping in car boot and saved me manytimes

I had the 1st gen which broken (usb ports broke) which I bought for £11.99 (was a voucher on here). I contacted the company and they sent me the new 2nd gen for free :smiley: I then fixed the old one so have 2 working batteries, I would say I get about 18000 mah's of charge from the battery so it's not bad at all. The charge on the other hand does take a while, even on a 2ah charger.

But all in all brilliant for £11.99 and still brilliant at £20.99.

Might be interesting to try and put this under the seat of a bicycle and run a wire to power things on the front.

I got this for under £17 last week on an amazon lightning deal. Didn't get a chance to use it yet.

bought this a couple months back and a usb port stopped working. they replaced if free of charge but then both the usb ports stopped working a while later and then they never replied to my email. would not recommend this.

Id probably get this instead, looks smaller, better charging speed and a good company

Great portable battery. A bit bulky and heavy, but does the job.

I bought the model before this one with only 2 usb ports, best little gadget I bought.

Great battery but a bit on the heavy/bulky side. Mine goes camping with me but I don't keep it in my day to day bag.
