Easy money, sell a sheet of a4 paper for £30 to a shill account you set up yourself. A couple of quid in eBay and PayPal fees equals £60 to spend on eBay.

Thanks - I got this email today, and also the one about two months ago so I will put some more stuff on to get the £30 voucher again.
I used to sell loads on ebay, but stop selling as the ebay & paypal fees kept going higher & the increase in postal charges made selling smaller items uneconomic. I also think the way they treat sellers is getting wore and the fact that you can't leave negative feedback for buyers who don't pay grates with me.
I think ebay has lost a lot of sellers for similar reasons and the vouchers is their way of getting people selling again.

I had this last month on an account I hadn't used in ages. Fully honoured and received my £30 although not long to spend it so careful it doesn't run out

I didn't get this offer invite, instead I got 100 free listings and 50% off final value fees.

Got the email too. I've had similar emails twice in the past year, both times paid out. I received £50 for the first and £30 for the second. :smile:

My wife got the same deal a few months ago, but it was for £50. We thought it a scam to begin with, well worth double checking emails.

Is there a minimum spend on the voucher ? For example do you only get £30 pounds off a spend say worth £100, or is it £30 pounds off no minimum spend. Ie £30 pounds off £30

Had a real issue getting my voucher last July from a promotion similar to this by eBay. After about 3 months and talking to the support chat 10+ times finally received it. Good Luck.

I had an invite couple months ago and just got this one. I think its probably for people who don't normally sell stuff. Took about 2 weeks after selling the item for them to send me the £30 voucher.

Iv'e had a couple of these in the past and always delete them thinking its a scam.I thought any email from ebay would also show in ebay account.

I didn't even see this email. I tend to get the bog standard sell your unwanted stuff emails or ones with 50-75% off fees. Assumed this email was the bog standard sell unwanted stuff so off to list something for this offer now :smile:

can you sell multiple items, for example 6 items at £5 each or is it just against the 1 item?

I did the one last month - sold about 10 items and got the £30 voucher. I then purchased 6 different items which totalled just over £30. You have to spend the voucher in one transaction - but you can add lots to your basket then use the voucher as you pay for the basket load of items. I got the 75% off final fees as well with that so it was a really good deal.

I've got the mail again for this one - so may well find some more stuff to sell!

A couple of notes:

A. The £30 off coupon that will be produced is only valid for a week.
B. Voucher must be used in one transaction. Can be used in a multiple item/seller basket. If the value of the item/basket is less than £30, the remaining value is forfeited.
C. If you cancel or return an order, the value of the coupon is forfeited. You will receive a full refund on PayPal by the seller, but instantly eBay takes it back.
D. As it is a voucher code, you cannot use it along with a % discount coupon. But you can use it along with Nectar ebay vouchers.

ebay must be able to tell which users don't check their emails as it seems to be just these people who got it!

sold my red ps4 controller today, 30 quid + 3 quid pp
the actual pp cost me 5 quid, and fees are ridiculous .. this is why i stopped selling on ebay haha

never the less im getting 23 quid from the actual sale, then a 30 quid ebay voucher on top, for a controller i bought for 31 quid not bad

You have to accept the offer just once. Thats it. Then list - sell and wait for the voucher. All these offers usually dissapears after accepting. But they do work.

I got this offer twice in one month. =) plus they sent me 2 another vouchers. 10% off electronics from 100GBP and (when I used first 10% voucher) I got another 10% off any purchase from 75 up to 100GBP. :smiley: aslo I got two another offers 75% off final value fees and 50%off final value fees a week after. And thats all in one month..

Sold my item for £35 so waiting patiently for my £30 voucher to arrive. Got a horrible feeling about this one. Think it might be the last time I use ebay!

There was another one of these a few weeks before this one, and I received the voucher a few days before the final due date - I also had an invite for this one, so hopefully vouchers should be out soon :smiley: they are definitely genuine..

One thing to consider when using it is, as it is a Voucher some retailers/sellers won't post until it is cleared.

apparently I'm not entitled to the voucher now because I refunded the buyer £5 of the £80 selling price because my minxy toddler opened the box when I was packing it and opened one of the packets. I think it's blinking sneaky of eBay :disappointed:

eBay has not honoured me the voucher. I edited an old listing and they say it is a re-listed item, so not qualified for promotion.
