Ordered goods from BANGGOOD in Sept., paid for and apparently they have arrived in this country from Malaysia on 2nd Oct. contacted them and was asked -"to wait with patience please"

They do tell you that waiting time could be up to 25 days. You have to wait that amount of time before they can do anything. Bought a couple of bits over the last couple of months, never exceeded stated waiting time

You need to take this on board when buying from ANY overseas supplier. .The time taken is out of their hands.. Its pot luck.. Sometimes it can be as quick as a week.. Other times 2 months.. Sometimes (rarely) things vanish in thin air and never arrive.
Most of the delay is the method of transport that they use (air, sea, land).. But also our our HMRC who can hold onto things for months.. Especially if its over the import limit (Which this is)
Anyone who buys things from overseas needs to understand the various times that I takes things to arrive.. The risks of them getting lost.. And budget for any VAT and Duty they may incur.. If people don't like this way of shopping, they need to leave China well alone!
I have just finished building a quad with ALL parts coming from China.. Everything was ordered at the same time, but its taken 8 weeks to get EVERYTHING... But thats part of the fun,
As Bangood said.. Just be patient!

Can I recommend this one: JJRC H5C Headless Mode One Key Return RC Quadcopter 2MP Camera, or it's Syma equivalent, less than a quid more, much bigger in size and well made.

Thanks guys wasn't sure as I've not purchased from them before.
I just bought a x11c through bespoke for £23, is this better? The x11c isn't headless and only has a 2mp camera.

Any idea if it would cope with a Gopro or similar sized camera fitted instead (even if need modify something for it to mount on) I like the idea and it looks like a good deal but i was just planning ahead...
Im assuming it wont handle weight or size of a gopro ?

I've got a syma x8c (was £70 from amazon, or can be had for £50-£60 from HK) and will cope with a go pro (though probably not a gimbal as well), doubt this will. x8c will apparently carry around 100-120g payload. Other thing I like about the x8c compared to my hubsan drones is if I destroy a motor or the casing, everything just unplugs - no soldering. Range is around 250-300m although I've not dared try further than that - youtube shows come with stock controllers reaching well over 400m. I've ordered the £35 FPV kit for the syma x5sc as that will work ok with the X8c other than you have to so a small mod to record video, but picture quality is better than the crap stock camera. Otherwise there is the x8g which has a much better camera, albeit at around £100. Only bad thing about the x8, the charger is crap - takes 3hours to charge for 10m flight time so I'll be investing in a decent charger soon.

808 keychain camera would make more sense (or possibly a Mobius)
no problem, I'm trying to decide between the two myself so would be great to see which you decide to go for

I looked at your recommendation, but put off the JJRC H5C because it says there is now a version 3 available but you may still get version 2 and the spare's are incompatable between the two.

Just so you know my order was cancelled so I decided to go for the non camera version for £15.41 on ebay. camera makes it harder to fly and lowers flight time. If I desperately want to take a video I could probably sellotape a keyring camera to it.

Wltoys v636 skylark for me. No camera as said are almost always rubbish at this price and lowers flight time ! Check the skylark out guys - had a few before this and cannot fault it ! Decent (yet a bit cheap looking) controller with a screen with info on. The flips are amazing - can be done indoors in a normal size room they are that good ! None of my others could flip and perform like that !
