Deep heat spray reduced to 0.75p from £3.00 in tesco's Manchester
Unsure whether this applies to all tescos but it's worth a look.

Placebo or not it always stung like buggery when you used to rub it on your legs before playing football in the winter and then forgot and put your hands down your shorts

I used quite a lot of this stuff when I had a really bad shoulder for months. It was so bad after a while I felt I would be better without my left shoulder altogether. Deep heat did little to help the situation. The spray & the cream.
In the end a neck cozy heated up in the microwave & left around my neck for 1/2 hr or so & a cold gel bag (the type you can freeze) applied afterwards, repeated daily for about week worked wonders.

I always thought you would use heat on aches/sprains before or after exercise, and freeze if aches/sprains occur during exercise?
Also freeze if swelling is evident/likely.
Someone no doubt will disagree...

I've got rheumatoid arthritis and bearing in mind i'm only 23 this stuff works wonders! Works really good with flare ups, aches and pains so i can definitely say that this stuff isn't placebo!

I can fully qualify from personal experience these are not a placebo. I sometimes get really agonisingly painful and bad leg cramps and this stuff shifts it within a couple of mins. Got bad leg cramp climbing down Snowdon this summer and a few sprays of this eased the symptoms and a few repeat applications and I got down OK. IMO this is great stuff and works for me.

You do understand what placebo means don't you? Look up placebo and nocebo if you don't!

There was a recent program on BBC that tested these products and they are placebo.

Delboy moment: I feel a few quid can be made from this deal if you sell it all to United & City fans as pepper spray for the local derby matches.
