I bought one of these last year. The fit was perfect everywhere except for around the arms, that's where it felt like Chris Benoit had a hold of me.

Watch out for shrinkage !
I had a few of these a year or so ago ...
And each one gradually got shorter each wash ... Eventually they only just reached my jeans and bared flesh if I bent forwards or backwards ... Not a good look !
Wonder if anyone else had similar problems ???
Think I got some from the bay and the rest from Amazon .... Perfect initially but over longer periods of time ??

did you follow the washing and drying instructions? polo tops in general tend to shrink, especially if put in the dryer.

You should use a clothes horse.

There's only so many times you can blame the washing machine mate..

I bought one of these last year when 4.99 and the shape on it was atrocious. I wore it once, washed it once and then promptly shifted it off to the charity shop.

Or spend a few quid more and get some Tokyo Laundry ones.

Bought 3 thanks OP! Had 3 from a previous deal for approx 12 months with zero problems like shrinking and shape unlike Tokyo Laundry which I avoid due to small sizes (XL is really a L) and shrinkage.

I have bought some Charles Wilson stuff from Amazon before.
IMO It's cheap, comfortable with a nice fit. If you’re expecting top quality do not chose this brand, but if you want something to just lounge around in or for just general day use these are great value!

Yes, watch out for shrinkage. I got one that was initially too big, but after a few 30 degree washes it's now on the small side.

I have had 2 Tokyo Laundry polos for about a year and only now are they starting to misshape so I have found them good.

It's the tumble dryer that shrinks these (or anything!). My son used to get lots of good quality thick cotton polo shirts from JD Williams/Jacamo and had to replace them regularly whether they looked done or not, due to shrinkage. Still worth it though at this price! Wash on 40 with some of that dettol anti bac stuff, then dry on a rack or over the radiators.

Agreed. I tend to buy clothes 1 size bigger considering the shrinkage factor

I also washed them at the correct temp !
They really do shrink !
Just a thought ... I could be getting taller and wider ??

Not sure about polo shirts but bought some CW shirts a year ago and they were horrible - they are now binned. Scratchy material, damaged on even the cool iron setting, stitching very poor.

I bought one of these and after one wash I had to give them to my 3 y.o. son. He loves it!

I don't know why I always buy these... They tear easily and they don't wash well.. Cheap doesn't always mean good :disappointed:

I have a few of these and some of them shrunk ever so slightly. Do my washing at 40 degrees. Still good value though.

I like them. I'm built like a handsome rugby player and they fit nicely. Tight around the arms to show off the guns brah.
