Apparently we have a mega cold winter on the way so I was on the lookout for a new winter coat.
This looks nice and warm so I got one.

Didn't they say we were going to have a mega-scorcher of a summer this year too?
I can do better:
It's going to get colder and darker from now until late spring with plenty of miserable, damp days, occasional watery sunshine and some overnight freezing temperatures. Could be the odd flurry of snow a few times: not enough to be useful for anything but it'll still strand the BMWs. Oh, and it'll be a bit misty some mornings but half the mums on the school run will forget to turn any lights on whereas all the reps in their Audis will light everything up and forget to turn their fog lights off until May.
There, save that and apply it each year - this is the UK!

I've got a grey version of this, fibres of the padding comes through the outside layer and ball up. Poor quality.

Not sure how people can say these are worth the price, great quality, etc. I sent it back straight away, shocking jacket and I paid £20. Enjoy

I bought one 3-4 years ago for £20 and to be fair it's probably the best £20 I ever spent !
Kept me warm and dry on my early morning and late night dog walks
At the end of the day it is all I would wear it for but it was perfect

Not sure about those, but the likes of TKmax and USC sell similar kind of licensed or cheaper clothing.

I bought this last year too. My zip lasted a few weeks before needing replacement. I've had to have the stitching under one of the arms repaired recently too. So, the quality isn't the best. It is very warm, though and does the job.

Most of the stuff on MnM direct is cheap tat with just licensed use of brand names, hence why they are cheap.

how about those Diesel, Levi's jeans?
they are quite standard price at USC, MnM and TKMAxx.

It's warm, but very poor quality. Bought one at£19.99 last year. The zips didn't last for even a week. Waste of money.

£27 more than they're worth.
I bought one of these, the lining started coming away in first couple of DAYS
Dreadful. I sent it back, and fair do's to M&M, they refunded quickly and no argument.

So, how much will this be if you get your independence and Queen Nic of The Fish Party find they're broke and put VAT up to 30%?

Think it was the Daily Mail last year that predicted that last winter was going to be the worst for 70 years - good to see the journalists from the Sunday Sport found work.
