great deal got the blue and yellow one for £33 from amazon last year using fashion code so delighted to get the black one for near the same price, they are a perfect size and as has been mentioned do mosts things you need!

It's a basic 3$ quartz in some rubber, not really worth RRP but for £37 will do.

I'm pretty sure my Amazon fashion voucher is still valid. Never used it but drops the price of basket items when applied.

Having couple of £200+ watches I can tell you one thing - movement used in those g-shocks costs no more than $3 delivered.That's how large-scale manufacturing works.

they are very rigid and durable..and well worth the money.
who cares how much it cost them to make,what matters is the quality you get.show me another watch in this price range that is of the same quality and durability..

Mass trade manufacturing costs have no real bearing in this conversation - Casio developed good shock, magnetic and water resistant quartz module even without the rubber casing. Yes, as with all companies, they are now riding on the brand they developed off the back of that, but many people believe it is worth it. Can you show me similar capabilities (and I have had watched that have claimed water resistance that then show ingress) for the costs your claim? And if you can, do you also have a currency converter to add further relevance to your claims?

That's as may be, but most other watches using the same $3 mechanism won't survive being thrown down the stairs.

And I, for one, take great delight in throwing my watch down the stairs on a fairly regular basis. :smiley:
