Just bought a lovely quality wooden butterfly house from Homebargains for only £2.99. Label on it said it should be £8. They also had a bee home version.
Would make good Christmas gifts for those who are into their gardening or for children.
Bought at Homebargains on Newport Rd, Cardiff, but believe it's national.

Not sure about butterflies, but it will hold a vast amount of Spiders!

They have them in dudley, picked one up for my dad for Christmas, I don't think he'll be too worried if any spiders start squatting in there, he used to keep tarantulas

Why would butterflies like this out of interest?

I'd say roughly 6 inches high, 4 inches wide.

How many butterflies does it come with? Or do you have to buy them separately?

You have to buy separately, they're £1.99 each or a bargain offer of 3 for 2!!

I've took a look at this and still baffled to why it is what it is. Surely David Bellamy can help?

They have these every year in Homebargains they're great we have a few in our garden. They're alot dearer elsewhere  I love butterflies in my garden and the bee one helps with pollinating our fruit and veggies we grow xx
