This seems to sell and then more get relisted pretty quickly so please don't expire too prematurely, or get upset if you see that they are sold out because chances are they WILL restock!
I've been watching this for the past week and the listings keep selling out, but then they make another listing! :D
I've linked to their store, to make it easier for checking back to see if they have it still. I've bought one, self-propelled is £12.75 more, if you wanted!

Please read this before ordering:
“Items have been used and returned to store. The box has been opened and the machine assembled and it has had limited use. We have tested and refurbished the entire machine and have repackaged it in a plain box. The signs of use will be minor scratches/scuffs on the body of the machine and paint missing and possibly surface rust underneath.”
Also read: PLEASE NOTE: ALL OF OUR MACHINES ARE FUELLED AND OILED AND TESTED BEFORE RELEASE. WHILST WE DO MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ENSURE THAT THE MACHINES ARE ALL EMPTIED OF FLUIDS AS MUCH AS IS POSSIBLE BEFORE THEY LEAVE, THERE MAY BE RESIDUAL FLUIDS LEFT IN THE MACHINE. IF THE MACHINE IS TIPPED DURING TRANSIT THEN OIL COULD BE RELEASED ONTO OTHER PARTS OF THE MOWER. THIS MEANS THAT, UPON STARTING THE MOWER FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE MOWER WILL SMOKE FOR THE FIRST15 MINUTES OR SO. THIS IS JUST EXCESS OIL BURNING OFF AND IS NO CAUSE FOR ALARM.
Looks like this one from Argos: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2883555.htm

Looks like they've sold out ATM, keep an eye on the link, it will be back. I'll message the mods to ask them to unexpire the deal when I see they have relisted some more. If everyone else could do the same that would be great as you are only allowed to contact the mods once about each post so I could unexpire once but not any more!

Bought a sovereign mower from CPC garden when they were posted on here a few weeks back. Turned out to be faulty, struggling to get a refund , e mails ignored, phone number shown never gets answered, awaiting the outcome of a PayPal claim. Mine may have been just a one off faulty item, but doesn't excuse there rubbish customer service, and there reluctance to replace or refund the faulty item. A case of Buyer Beware I think with this company.

Thanks for adding your experience. Might by a case of avoid the sovereigns and go for Qualcast so that you don't end up with a faulty item as you will have issues getting anywhere.
Having said that they have 99% feedback so generally their gear must be well tested and services before they send it back.

Looks like they've sold the 3 they had, the last one being sold at 15:13:02 BST today.
Nevermind, voted HOT, HOT, HOT! for the effort before someone goes and marks this EXPIRED!
Edit: If you've been watching this deal for a week, you certainly took your time deciding over whether or not to buy. The first one of the 3 was only sold at 11:20:46 BST today :smirk:

Thanks buddy! I've contacted them through eBay saying that they should list more of their 41cm Qualcasts asap if they want them all sold. Fingers crossed they will have more in stock and be keen to shift them!

I purchased and paid for Qualcast mower couple of weeks ago. Item never received and seller did not reply to emails and phone number supplied not answered. Buyers beware.

Thanks, how come they have such good feedback when there's a couple of complaints in this thread already?

brought one of the sovereign mowers 2 weeks ago, excellent condition and works brilliantly. I missed out on the ones at first but I followed the seller on eBay and then got a notification when more were listed by them. voted hot

I bought this mower from Homebase in their half price sale. Although not a bad mower it does have a few weak points. Firstly the wheels are not robust to last 10-15 years and will probably break after 3-5 years.
The other fault, the pull cord frequently jams and requires a few choice words to free it.
Other than some niggles I'm about 90% happy with my purchase I understand why people return these back to store?
I bought one these a few weeks back and it looked just as new (unused), I filled it with oil and ran it up and down the garden a couple of times and immediately ordered a second this looks just a good as the first - my Only complaint would be the grass bag, at 45L it's rather too small.
I run mine on Quantum fully Synthetic 5/30 Oil bought from the Bradford area for about £25/5 Ltrs, it's probably about the same price and certainly superior to the Briggs and Stratton SAE30 oil.

It jams the engine not the cord

Are you sure you're doing it 100% correctly with your technique? I only realised I wasn't starting my lawnmowers properly recently, completely successful on every occasion starting it now.
1. Make sure enough fuel is pumped in with the red button.
2. Pull the cord slowly until you feel it pull back.
3. Yank the cord and it's running!
(The above is just my current lawnmower which is old and has a B&S engine in it.)

Let me see, lawn mower, rotavator, chain saw, petrol strimmer yeah I think one has enough experience with pull cords?

In my post #22 above, I mentioned that I'd bought a second machine when the first was in such 'pristine' condition well, upon moving the box this pm I checked the contents and noticed there were two cables running from the upper handle and lo and behold the 2nd. machine is in fact a XSZ41D self propelled model - Nice. http://www.coreservice.co.uk/products/qualcast/petrol-products/items
