As I say, personal taste. I'm fussy when it comes to sound and for these portable speakers I like the Bose best. I'm not talking about other Bose products you seem to be referring too. Bose do some great products and some not so great, like anything sound you really need to try a product for yourself.

The sound Boss products output is anything but natural! They all emit a warm sound that to some sound wonderful but to others totally fake.

Just bought one of these last week while in Vegas.
I'm not that into sound on speakers, but won a little on the machines, and decided to buy something before it all went back into the slot machines.I paid $200 .....about £140....so this is a good deal.
But as the dollars would have just gone back into the machines,I am happy to get something out of my playtime in Vegas.

I wanted one of these but have been tempted by the creative sound blaster roar 2, reviews seem to match them pretty much the same. Has anyone heard the roar in the flesh. It's obviously cheaper although not at the Spanish price, not sure which one to go for.

Good price, but still outperformed by cheaper Onkyo Envaya in terms of sound and bass reproduction.

Hmm having listened to both Id take the Bose any day of the week. Audio is a funny thing and heavily down to personal choice, Id say the Bose gives a truer natural sound, no over emphasized bass or treble

"There are plenty of competitors in this size and class of speaker, including the Pure Voca, the Denon Envaya Mini and Jam Heavy Metal. However, the Bose SoundLink Mini II trounces them all when it comes to sound quality with deeper bass, silkier mids and smoother treble. Admittedly, it's significantly more expensive too. If you're on a budget then you can get comparable – but not quite as good – options for around £90-£100.
All these speakers manage to crank out sound much larger than their stature because they use passive radiators. These aren’t traditional speaker drivers, but complement standard drivers, exponentially increasing the low-frequency sound they're able to output.
Since Bose has aced this radiator-led style so well, you'll really need to find a good traditional driver speaker to get much better sound. And this, in effect will mean a larger box. The Loewe Speaker2go is a great alternative, available at a similar price, but it's quite a lot larger – although larger speakers are able to deliver better bass.
Amazing price, wonder if flubit deal with amazon Spain.

Good price. I bought one a couple of months ago from Amazon France. Had a bit of hassle as they delayed sending but after chasing and having to contact them in French got it sent and got my postage refunded.
Just to confirm all of these speakers come with only a EU adapter but as this is a USB powered speaker any new type phone charger will work.
