The way they handled this quote in the 2014 Robocop was dreadful. :disappointed:

The 3rd is tolerable as a spin off style movie but not as a main movie, loved the jetpack scene, ending was awful though.

Why would anyone tolerate themselves into watching the second (not too bad) and even the... the.. third. *puke*

No one did violence in mainstream movies quite like Paul Verhoeven.

Has to be the original Virgin Video release with all the adverts for other films, to name a couple:
Steel Dawn (Swayze Mad-Max rip-off) - this actually came after the film had ended (remember when videotapes did that?)
Virgin Music Video (Peter Gabriel, Erasure, Genesis, U2)
Virgin Comedy (Phil Cool, Rory Bremner, Rodney Dangerfield, etc)
Also had the advert for Ocean's RoboCop computer game (awesome on 8-bits, crap on 16-bits), here's the link to the advert; is on a rental copy though so the above promos don't appear...
The new one is pretty good, it just lacks the gratuitous violence of the first two Robocop. They got it right when they re-launched Dredd, although they haven't made another since it!

You can also get this for £7.99 at amazon with a £3 instant video credit.
Effectively makes this £4.99 if you were planning to buy anything from the amazon video store.

Stupid price, worth it just for the first one alone
Thanks, it looks so bad I've ordered, although cheaped-out on the German bluray cos it was half the price of the English br but still has eng lang track.

Blu Ray....yeah ok then....stick an old film in a blue case and rip everyone off....business model for idiots.
This is what camera this film was filmed with....35mm Film.

You do realise that 35mm film is higher resolution than Blu-Ray? That you can rescan 35mm film to obtain high-definition digital versions?

I can see you're really upholding your Zavvi hate here. Maybe leap to their defence if they're banished from HUKD again rather than bizarrely bashing them? :sunglasses:

Please don't confuse great pricing with my personal preference of retailer. Milages vary as I imagine you would understand.

Err... Yes 35mm is superior to Blu-ray. Was this in jest or have you got your wires crossed?

It was the same music, just a different pitch.
Spectrum's gameplay was superior to all other versions, that is all.
