it shouldn't come as a surprise but the meat content in these is awful

I was going to say the same thing! I wouldn't buy these for 50p.
The best (frozen) ones I've tried are from Aldi.

more meat on a butchers pencil than in these pie numbers, birdseye used tae be good years ago, now most of there stuff is full of mystery meat with the saw-dust like after taste :confused:, even we draw a line up here,
apart fae that, their frozen veg range especially the peas I've come tae love, and are still braw for ma black eyes most week-end, as it take the swelling procedure doon considerably quicker than other brand oot there, think it's tae dae with them being frozen straight away a think(_;)
